Luckily, it was the third day of our nine-day stay, so they probably needed to clean the rooms during their seven-day cleaning period. Otherwise, if we had bought food and cooked it ourselves, who knows how long the food waste would have rotted. I think this is a big problem. For such a large hotel, it's surprising that they don't have their own... I've never seen such large trash cans before.
