"We had a wonderful stay! The location is unbeatable, offering beautiful beach views and a great variety of food options within easy reach. The hotel itself is spotless and well-kept, and our family suite offered plenty of space and very comfortable bedding.
We spent a lot of time at the Sampan Bar, which quickly became our favorite spot. Between the great music, refreshing drinks, and the ability to watch the kids play on the beach, it was perfect. A big shout-out to the team at Sampan for the awesome service!
Also, for anyone driving an EV, it’s convenient that they have a Shell Recharge station. Note that only Port 1 was working during our visit, but it’s still a great facility to have on-site."

"I recently stayed at this hotel and was very impressed with the room. The room is spacious with a studio-style layout, featuring a sleeping area, living space, small kitchenette, and one bathroom. The in-room amenities are nearly complete — it comes with a mini fridge and other essentials, making it comfortable for both short and extended stays.
I booked a sea view room and the view was absolutely stunning. The location is also very convenient, only a 3-5 minute drive to Kuantan city center when there’s no traffic. Finding food is easy too, with several restaurants just a short walk from the hotel.
Breakfast had a good variety and tasted great. The only downsides were that check-in took a bit longer due to a long queue, and parking was a little challenging since it was very crowded, likely because of the weekend. Other than that, there wasn’t much to complain about.
Overall, the hotel offers comfort, complete facilities, and a strategic location. This will definitely be one of my favorite stays whenever I’m in Kuantan."

"Good thing about this apartment is, air cond is good, and it’s relatively clean. I will write what I see, the bedsheets and quilt cover is full of stains, it’s really time to change new sets. There is no separate air cond split unit inside small room with single bed. The under sink pipe in dining area came off during our stay, good thing is management sent repairman within 30minutes. Quite a number of eateries near the apartment, this is a plus point. Beach access was good."

"We reached the hotel at about 2.45 PM and were asked to wait for our room. Although check-in officially begins at 3 PM, our room wasn't ready until 4:20 PM. Inside, the bedroom was quite small (with an unusual sink-outside-bathroom layout) and the garden view was disappointing. However, the highlight of our stay was the beach. It is peaceful, clean, and beautifully shaded by trees. It’s a fantastic area for total relaxation."

RRay Mak Hon KitThe past few days in Kuantan, we stayed at Kuantan Imperium Seaview by AVANZEE and honestly, we loved the experience.
Check-in was smooth, fast and hassle-free. The security guards and staff stationed near the mail room were friendly, welcoming and very accommodating, making the entire process feel easy and comfortable right from the beginning.
Our unit was located on the 7th floor. The room was clean, spacious and beautifully designed with a modern aesthetic feel. It felt like a cozy studio apartment equipped with a simple kitchenette complete with microwave oven, water filter, kettle, refrigerator and kitchen utensils. Hairdryer and iron were also thoughtfully prepared inside the built-in wall cupboard, giving the room a sleek and minimalist appearance.
The TV came with Netflix and YouTube, though we barely had time to use them because Kuantan itself has so much to explore. Internet speed was decent too, which is important especially for travellers, foreigners or content creators who need reliable connectivity.
The bathroom was modern, clean and well-maintained. Shampoo and bath gel were provided as well.
One thing we really appreciated was the sleeping arrangement. Besides the main bed, there were also two very comfortable sofa beds. A family of four can easily stay here comfortably, or even more if travelling with young children. Extra pillows and blankets were also prepared in the cupboard.
Location wise, it’s almost perfect. The property is peacefully located slightly away from the busy city centre, yet still close enough for convenience — just across a short bridge. This balance makes it feel like a relaxing seaside escape without being too isolated.
The seaside is located directly beside the property and is only a short walk from the carpark. Every morning, we could see locals collecting clams along the shore. Their buckets were filled with white clams and edible sea snails, which was honestly quite fascinating to watch.
The facilities here are excellent too. There’s a beautiful swimming pool, wet and dry playgrounds for children, barbecue area and plenty of family-friendly amenities, making it an ideal destination for a family getaway or staycation.
But perhaps the highlight for us was the breathtaking view from the room. Being on the East Coast of Malaysia, we were treated to stunning sunrises every morning as the sunlight reflected beautifully across the crystal-clear sea water. Sunset views can also be enjoyed from the opposite side in the evening.
Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return again — hopefully next time together with the kids and our parents.

GGuest UserLocation was fantastic as there is a beach right behind the building which is connected to the swimming pool. The unit was clean and looks as advertised(with refrigerator and washing machine), however - there were issues with the air conditioning.
Whilst the management sent technician pretty quickly when we initially reported the issue, they were unable to resolve the issue completely (the aircon was not generating cold air consistently and majority of the time hot air was generated instead), which we didn’t realise the issue was not fully resolved given that we spent most of the management’s working hours outside of the unit and it was only until late at night we noticed the whole unit was fairly hot (as there was only one fan in the room with the single bed; as the other two queen beds relied filly on aircon only).
We reported the issue again via WhatsApp and management offered air cooler - however we only booked for one night and was already checking out when this occurred

However, there is no kids’ club, so it may be better suited for couples or families whose kids enjoy quieter activities. Still a pleasant and refreshing short stay.

After i left and checked out from the hotel i realised that i misplaced my watch and contacted the hotel and they immediately help to search without hesitation even if its off working hours. They contacted the cleaners and all the other staffs to search for my watch and even went to the location my watch was last found. And thankfully i found my watch that i accidentally left in the grab 😭😭😭😭
The staff is so friendly and helpful really love my stay here.
The room is also neat and clean and the price is also reasonable. Location also great theres a restaurant just opposite to the hotel and many food nearby just by walking distance.
THIS WILL BE MY FIRST CHOICE THE NEXT TIME I COME TO KUANTAN

DDurrah AdilaI think because it's an old hotel, it had that classic vibe, which I'm okay with. But the parking is in the basement without any elevator access, and you had to pay extra to park in front of the hotel.
The first problem is the room air conditioning weren't properly working and we felt hot even after a few hours waiting for the room to be cooler. We ended up reaching out to the hotel and thank god all the staff were every helpful. They helped us change our room and there's a coakroach in the room that came out when we were packing to leave.
Overall, would definitely stay here again for the budget but recommending yall to find a more comfortable stay if you're on a holiday
