The room was fantastic, and the complimentary snacks were a thoughtful touch. The bed was soft and very comfortable. Its location near the airport makes it perfect for those catching a flight the next day. However, I had a terrible experience with the airport shuttle. The website stated there was a free shuttle, and I even double-checked the timetable. I waited at the designated area (A9–A13), but no bus ever showed up! I saw shuttles from other hotels coming and going constantly, yet I waited for over an hour with no sign of ours. I’m not sure if a pre-booking was required, but I strongly advise everyone to call and confirm with the hotel beforehand Additionally, the shampoo dispenser in my bathroom was broken and wouldn't pump. 🥲

I had a very pleasant stay at the Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel. Its location is incredibly convenient—just a one-minute walk from the airport, which makes it perfect for travelers with early flights or short layovers. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere felt comfortable and welcoming. The service was excellent, with staff who were consistently helpful, friendly, and attentive to guests’ needs. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The hotel offers a good Western breakfast with a variety of options, all fresh and satisfying. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great service right next to the airport.

When we arrived at the hotel, we received a warm welcome. The lady at the reception, who I believe was the manager, handled our check-in quickly and efficiently. However, when we entered our room, we were shocked. The floors and the areas around the windows were covered in dust, and it seemed that only the bed sheets had been changed. Dust was literally floating in the air. Both my daughter and I have dust allergies, so we immediately left the room and informed the reception. To make matters worse, there was a spider web hanging from one of the lamps, making it feel as if the room had not been properly attended to for months. Even if the room cleaning had been done poorly, we were surprised that there appeared to be no quality control or inspection process in place. After we reported the issue, the room was cleaned quickly. However, when we returned, the spider web was still hanging from the lamp, which showed that the cleaning had not been done thoroughly. The next morning, we experienced our second disappointment at breakfast. There were almost no croissants, bread, or other breakfast items left, and there was not even any hot water available. Only one person was working in the kitchen. When we mentioned the situation to him, he explained that he had just started the job and was trying his best to keep up. We tried to make do with whatever food was available and even brought tea from our room in order to have breakfast. As someone who travels frequently, I am sorry to say that this was one of the worst hotel stays I have experienced so far. This was a trip that my family and I had been looking forward to with great excitement, but unfortunately, it was overshadowed by the issues mentioned above. I sincerely hope the hotel addresses these problems. People spend months planning and looking forward to their vacations, and I hope future guests will not have their experience ruined in the same way ours was.

It feels very ”family-friendly” and is surrounded by nature, making it a peaceful retreat. However, keep in mind its location if you plan on visiting the city center frequently. Location & Transport 🚌 Proximity: Conveniently located about 10 minutes from the airport. Shuttle: The hotel provides a scheduled shuttle bus to and from the airport with frequent departures. City Access: There is no direct transport to the city center. To get downtown, you must take the shuttle back to the airport and transfer to a train/bus, call a taxi, or take a local bus to a transit point. It can feel a bit isolated if you don't have a car. Parking 🚗 There is ample parking space available, but please note that it costs approximately €20 per day. Room Quality 🛌 The Good: The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Overall, the room quality is very satisfying. The Amenities: A bit minimal. They provide the basics (soap, shampoo, and lotion), but no shower caps or other extra vanity kits. You might want to bring your own. Service & Facilities 🍳 Staff: The front desk team is professional and helpful. Breakfast: A highlight! The breakfast spread is good, and the staff are very attentive—constantly clearing plates and keeping the tables clean. The room wasn't huge, but it was very clean. The view from the window was quite nice, and I could even watch planes landing while having a meal at the nearby McDonald's. The front desk service was excellent, and the breakfast was good too. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit, as it's super convenient for the airport.

i enjoyed staying here - it was a bit complicated getting here by bus as there are works going on at the schiphol bus terminal - so you will need to logic your way to the right bus stop (google maps does not factor this in, so you will need to find temporary maps from schiphol along the bus stops). when you get to the hotel it is not obvious to view from the bus station either, so again you will need to figure out how to head to the moxy, but the hotel itself from the inside is very modern and fresh looking, everything is clean, the rooms feel very up to date and the bathrooms look bright and newly fitted which is always much preferred to old and worn. there is a lot of space to sit, read, and plan your trip on the ground floor with multiple sofas and desks. once you figure out the bus it is very easy to head back to schiphol airport or to town center from the hotel. the only thing is there is no tea or coffee station in-room, nor water, so everytime you want to boil water for tea or coffee, or even grab a drinking cup, you would have to go to the lobby and sometimes that isn’t practical as that’s also where other hotel guests are and the staff are stationed, and you just want some privacy. maybe they could put water bottles in room daily? or a water kettle? it’s a great hotel for if you are travelling into amsterdam for a short trip and have tight schedules to the airport, such as late night or early morning flights, and you are a younger solo traveller, who wants the privacy of their own room which is a step up from a nice hostel, and doesn’t mind figuring things out a bit as part of the journey

The room was very clean, and the service was warm and attentive. It's not far from the airport, and the hotel offers a shuttle bus service to and from the airport. When I booked, I was a bit worried the room might be too small, but it turned out to be fine. The only slight issue was the limited space for hanging clothes; with our three large suitcases, the room felt a bit cramped. The breakfast had a great variety of bread and plenty of fruit. Plus, breakfast starts as early as 4 AM, which was super convenient for us as we had an early departure.

Basic amenities like slippers and toothbrushes were not provided in the room and had to be requested from the front desk. Also, there was no complimentary bottled water. The breakfast offered a limited selection and wasn't particularly delicious. On the plus side, they offer a free airport shuttle service.

I had a great stay at the hotel with my friend during our trip to Amsterdam. The location is very convenient, especially being close to the airport, which made traveling easy. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, the service and amenities were excellent, and we really enjoyed our experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers visiting Amsterdam.

The hotel staff was very welcoming. They arrived early and let us check in early even though we were very tired. The room was also quite clean. But the transportation is not very convenient, it is very remote, and it takes 12 minutes to walk to the nearest station.
