"A gem surrounded by jungle and sea. There's a charming village nearby where you can buy small things like popcorn, coconuts, and bananas. The hotel has a small beach and two pools. It's definitely worth getting a room with a sea view; falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves is wonderful. All the staff are very pleasant and helpful with any questions. Special thanks to the administrator, Len!
We had dinner at the hotel restaurant on the first night, and everything was delicious. On the second night, we tried a local cafe nearby, which is a must-visit – everything there is tasty! If you walk from the hotel towards the river, the cafe is on the right (see photo).
Keep in mind that the hotel is far from Coron town, so transfers won't be cheap. There's nothing else around (which was a plus for us).
You can also visit the lovely Lakdayan Beach.
Downsides:
1. One day, people from a cancelled flight were accommodated at the hotel. The staff couldn't cope, and people were smoking by the pool with no one saying anything. We waited an hour for breakfast the next day.
2. The breakfast menu could use more variety."
