"Very well located, close to the train station, few Places and restaurants. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean, in the bathroom I would smell the drain but we understand the old plumbing system so did not bother us. Breakfast has little bit of everything, so we enjoyed it. We definitely had a pleasant stay. Would highly recommend."

"Overall Summary: First-class ocean view pool, second-class room facilities, third-class breakfast. Firstly, the hotel is right next to the Atlantic Ocean, offering a breathtaking view of the ocean and the fresh sea air. The pool is also huge, a saltwater pool, definitely worth experiencing. The only problem is that the Atlantic water is too cold 🥶. The room facilities are somewhat average, and the breakfast is not up to four-star hotel standards. Especially when it's crowded, the coffee machine often runs out of water and milk, making the experience less than ideal."

"Oh, it was an unforgettable experience. We got it and went to the second floor of the hotel, our room was there. The hotel is still at the stage of the interior finishing, the builder works, the entrance to the second floor on the other side. People in the hotel were a little, it was almost always free. Also on the second floor there is a terrace with a view to the city, one table and two chairs that we took and arranged dinner with wine. We had a beautiful view of the Mount with the Mavrov Castle, and the cafe was sitting on the streets with a company and a guy playing and singing on the guitar, which also added to the fascinating tonight. And in front of the terrace something like a kitchen with microwave oven, teapot, couch and table/chairs. Down, where the first floor, there is also a terrace, but we were not there, there too cozy. Therefore, in general, I liked the stay very much, there were difficulties only with settlement. The location is perfect, a few minutes from waiting was shown by the Sintra. I would stop here again on the second floor."

"Truely historic small hotel (26 rooms) in historic building. Nothing really what you can call luxury 2025, it was maybe bacl 2000. Location next to the Palace of Queluz makes it a bit more interesting though it's remote from both Lisboa and Sintra (which municiplay this place belongs to, city tax is ”only” 2€/Person max for 3 nights!). All rooms are upstairs, the standard rooms face the cobbed street (you can hardly hear with closed windows), big bathroom with tub, electricity bit strange, illumination bit old fashiioned. Due to the small capacity also the buffet breakfast ist limited in choice though high quality. Nespresso and filer coffee (better than those vending machines). Free parking outside is a plus, restaurants are in walking distance! In a nutshell: nice place but the ”normal” rates around 150€ are BY FAR too much in my eyes - our 75€ incl.4€ city tax was just okay (missing extras like spa, pool etc.)"

"Service: Invincible and intimate, probably because there are few Asians or my name is more special in English. When I went to breakfast the next day, the service staff could call my name and say hello. Facilities: Basically enough, it is acceptable for 200-year-old building renovations, and cannot be measured by modern 5-star facilities. Environment: It feels like living in the palace, there is a garden to go at will, and the public area is very stylish. It is the kind of usual visit to the palace~ you can see it and you can't touch it. You must visit it according to the route, but you can touch it and go anywhere."

"L'hotel si trova nel paesino di Colares: il centro del paese è a circa 2 km dall'albergo e offre diversi ristoranti e un buon supermercato della catena Continente: è un ottimo punto di partenza per chi voglia visitare le località di Sintra, Cascais. Estori, Cabo de Rocal o per le spiagge vicine. Dispone di parcheggio privato, ma i posti sono pochi. La struttura è molto bella ed i punti di forza sono sicuramente la sala comune con biliardo e pianoforte, la terrazza e l'incantevole giardino nel quale riposarsi. La camera nel complesso, purtroppo, è inferiore al resto dell'albergo: arredamento datato ed un po' kitsch (il comodino era letteralmente un tronco d'albero che a mala pena sosteneva la lampada, perciò non potevi appoggiare neppure il cellulare...) e bagno assolutamente da rivedere soprattutto i sanitari vecchi e a la doccia pericolosa con il piano che sembrava sprofondare. Buona, comunque, la pulizia e la qualità del sonno con letto comodo e nessun rumore (la stanza affacciava sul giardino) Buona e abbondante la colazione con tutto il necessario dal dolce al salato. Una nota positiva va allo staff: sono tutti molto cordiali e gentili. Nel complesso buon rapporto qualità/ prezzo tenuto conto della zona e consigliato per chi viaggia in auto"
