"Overall hotel is very lovely, super clean and peaceful. We booked room with a pool access and didn’t like it at all. Everything was so worn out, shiny tiles on the floor made it look dirty all the time. Acoustics was horrible. Above us was an Asian family…… felt like 10 people there, they were screaming, laughing, running in the room until the late night and you can hear absolutely all! And the worst thing was a lot of insects on our bed - dead and alive, flying, scrolling. So first night was a nightmare….. but we managed to change it for a bungalow and it was absolutely lovely. Nice design, silent, very clean, no insects inside.
Food in the hotel restaurant is not the best. First evening we had there fried fish, they brought it fully covered in ketchup. One of the waitresses recognized Slav face in me and was constantly trying to speak in broken Russian with me and my husband, even after we said I am Ukrainian and my husband is Turkish, he doesn’t understand Russian and I don’t want to hear it. So we never ate there again.
But breakfast was very nice, not very wide variety, but all super fresh. absolutely lovely egg station. Somehow they manage to cook each type of eggs in the very delicious way.
Few words about beach and island itself. We traveled in the beginning of June and I was searching a lot of about life and activities on the island before coming….. couldn’t find much, so was relying on google maps showing a lot of bars and restaurants around. So, it is pretty frustrating, absolutely everything closed because it is a rain season. Beach looks very abandoned, only few hotels work, all other places look like people left in hurry and didn’t care about anything. In the storm beach is full of sharp glass and other trash and no one cleans it. You need to watch your step all the time. But I can imagine in the season and good weather it must be a very nice wide and still silent beach to walk.
Nature is absolutely crazy, so many birds, lizards, snakes and other living things even on the territory of the hotel. Also they are taking care about two lovely cats, so we were constantly buying them some treats and wet food."

"Lovely relaxing place to stay! Very comfortable bed and nice room to stay in!! Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. It’s a quick 3 min walk to the beach, which has a nice restaurant and some deck chairs to sit on in the afternoon. Breakfast was great too. Would stay here again, if you’re looking for a nice retreat next to a calm beach it’s perfect. It is a 5 min drive to 7/11 and shops so a bike or car is probably easiest way to get around, but similar to most of the island. Thank you for a lovely stay!"

"We loved staying at the Twin Lotus! From start to finish the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We had an issue with the noisy air-conditioning unit outside our room and they moved us to a different building immediately. The beachfront pool was lovely and it was easy to get a sunbed even though it was peak season. The breakfast was delicious and had lots of variety. I loved the freshly baked cakes and homemade breads. We will definitely stay there again next time we visit Koh Lanta!"

"We had a Sunset Villa and were very satisfied. Breakfast was good, although a bit noisy and a bit cafeteria-like. Various types of toast, 4 different fresh fruits, pancakes, eggs, bacon, etc. Was good for us for 4 nights. In the resort you could also have a good meal on the beach in the evening. We ate at The Sisters on the street for 2 days. Simply great."

"Mornings in the mountains were magical: sunshine, sudden downpours, misty clouds, the calls of monkeys, the singing of birds... Suddenly, I found myself thinking that trekking up and down the slopes two or three times a day wasn't so bad after all! [grinning emoji]
As my departure approaches, I'd like to share my review of this hotel. Overall, our stay was incredibly comfortable. The room was spacious, and the balcony was enormous – even bigger than the room itself! (If you're not worried about the local monkeys making off with your belongings, you can really spread out there! [laughing-crying emoji]) The air conditioning was excellent, the water pressure was strong, and surprisingly, the water wasn't salty at all. The staff were exceptionally warm and friendly. Once you head down the hill, within a five-minute walk, you'll find everything you need: the beach, a 7-Eleven, a laundry shop, travel agencies, and the famous Lanta Pizza. The hotel also has its own scooter rentals available, and you can usually bargain the price down to match what you'd find at shops outside.
If you inquire when booking, there are a few room types located lower down the hill. However, the two-bedroom villas and rooms near the infinity pool are all situated on the ridge. For young couples who appreciate peace and quiet, I highly recommend these options. But for multi-generational families with elderly members and young children, like ours, I'd advise choosing carefully.
A special thank you to NI at the front desk for her absolutely outstanding service! And also to the lovely young lady (whose name I didn't catch, but she was so sweet and wonderful) who served us at the hilltop poolside restaurant. Thank you all for giving us a perfect holiday!"

"The room was much better for the price than we had presented. As much clean and for a few days completely enough. You are close to the pier and thus come quickly from the ferry to accommodation and vice versa. Just to see the rest of the island, you need to run something or take a TukTuk.

"Room is very comfortable, bed is good, linen is clean, a/c is new. Towels are old, but clean. Territory of hotel is wonderful, everything is so green and beautiful. Frogs sing at night. Very calm place if you want good sleep. I stayed at low season, so some things were abandoned, sunbeds are in bad condition, shower near swimming pool didn't work correctly. Staff is nice. My light in room didn't work, so staff solved this problem on this day.
Breakfast is good, you have choice.
Long dao beach is very flat, so its good place for families with children I think.
Good thing that you can order tickets to ferry on reception, but you need to verify the price (sometimes is better to buy in pier, its just 1,5km from this place)."

"Lovely location, only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The bungalows are lovely and spacious and has everything you need in them. I also liked that the bungalows weren’t too close together so you had your own space and privacy. The pool was relaxing and very well kept by the owners. Overall a very quiet place to stay if you’re wanting to relax near the pool I would highly recommend."

GGuest UserThe room amazed me the second the manager, Wind, who is the younger brother of the proprietor, Mr. Sunny, opened its door to me. With a refreshing Thai scent spreading from within, the room whose original two single beds had been combined into a big one for a solo traveler under my presumptuous request totally captivated me. It had a nice patio where I could put my feet up after a hot day out to the beach in the broiling sun. Wind also recommended me to go to what he considered as a must try restaurant and bar. He got me a scooter to which I only had to pay half overdue price on the last day because I forgot the time and couldn’t make it from the farthest beach, Bamboo Beach, on the island. His assistant, Shu, was shy and nice. One day I mistakenly bought two eggs that were light boiled, if not raw. She, without a second thought, helped me save my breakfast protein source. The proprietress, Ms. Ning, got me some pizza and bread she and her husband seemingly practiced making in the bistro kitchen next door. I would definitely book a room with breakfast next time if they planned to reopen after the Covid outbreak. In short, the hotel, just like its name, truly made feel at home; the owner and the staff, including the cat, Member, were terribly good and generous people. I will be terribly missing them. Of course I will go back to Koh Lanta in the future, and of course,Lanta at Home will be my one and only choice.

JJana.bJust got back from an incredible stay at Long Beach Chalet in Koh Lanta, and honestly, I’d totally recommend it! The location is perfect — right on the beach with stunning views and epic sunsets that made every evening special. The staff was super friendly and helpful, making us feel really welcomed. Room cleaning was always spot on and right on time, which was much appreciated.
We had a blast even in the low season — there’s always something happening, like different shows every night, which kept things fun. The spa was a standout — so professional, super clean, and the massages on the beach were just wow. They also offer yoga classes if you're into that vibe.
Their coffeeshop is a hidden gem — great coffee, tasty sandwiches, and an impressive selection of cheesecakes. And the breakfast options…. Delicious and plentiful, perfect way to start the day.
All in all, a fantastic spot to chill and unwind. If you're heading to Koh Lanta, definitely consider this place. We had an awesome time!

VViHuiVery beautiful, peaceful, quiet , family friendly resort. Food is so so for both dinner and breakfast, but the cocktails were amazing!
Facilities are nice! Kids loved the slide from the swimming pool, the playroom and outdoor area, the kid go kart.
Rooms are big, very comfy bed, nice bathtub.
The environment is great with wonderful sunset, nice lawn, and there is a big lotus pond!
Overall I would recommend this resort to everyone especially if you bring kids.
Not so crowded compared with other resorts in Koh Lanta. Very relaxing.

The facilities need to be improved. There is no hair dryer or kettle. You have to ask for it before you can get it. It feels so strange. Is there a hair dryer for washing hair? Why bother? The deposit of 1,000 is also strange. I stayed in 6 hotels during the whole trip, and this is the only one that requires a deposit.
It may be due to the peak season. I booked a room on Ctrip. 8 Chairman Mao tickets for one night are too expensive and do not match the facilities. I think 4 or 5 tickets are OK.

- located close to the Saladan Pier where the boats dock, and just next door to the night market that offers food and shopping
- welcoming and helpful staff (the hotel has no elevator, but the receptionist offered himself to carry my bag to the second floor
- free use of washing machine on the rooftop, all you need is buy a detergent in the supermarket nearby (5 baht)
- small kitchen if you would wish to prepare some food of your own
- vivid lobby brightened up by graffiti, with free water and a small library
- rooftop terrace with a hammock, with sadly not spectacular view (the roof of the market is quite unappealing - some graffiti artist should cover that too ;))
What could be improved?
- big bed is actually two twin beds connected together. Also, they are wrapped in that plastic which you can feel under the sheets :(
- I felt the cleanliness of the room could be on a higher level, especially floors and bathroom
- no handsoap in the bathroom (I used the shower gel, but even that one was fixed for the wall, so it doesnt get stolen, I guess?)
- just two big towels per room (no small towels, or a floor towel)
- even when at maximum, water temperature never gets hot or truly warm
- the hotel looks a bit run down, and could use some facelifting. There are holes in the floor of the common area, the bathroom seems unfinished, with exposed walls and some ventilation openings plugged with - plastic bags?
- i think key deposit of 500 baht is such an unneeded nuisance in these modern times - cant they just charge you if you lose it?

GGuest UserWe booked a deluxe villa, which by Thai standards, it certainly was. However, by Dutch standards, it was just a regular room, nothing special. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Our chargers didn't fit properly into the sockets, so they immediately provided a power strip with four outlets. The bathroom wasn't particularly clean; there were cobwebs on the ceiling and the sink faucet was loose. The shower, however, was great, even separated from the toilet by a small wall. The restaurant was down the hill, which was a steep descent! The food itself was fine. There are also two swimming pools and a water park. The water park needs to be booked separately. Very Good
SST & PSFront desk not very welcoming when check in. Did the job checking in and explaining the deposit, room, breakfast restaurant, beach location.
Issued us the room key and informed us the room direction, then we realised the check in is completed and we can be on the way to the room (1st time without hotel staff of this type/size of resort bringing us, not a big deal).
Strangely one staff did ”pop up” after we left the reception building, offer to bring us to the room. We rejected since we figured we can manage.
One good point is we get to check in earlier than the designated time.
Room has unpleasant smell when first enter, but got use to it after a day (after house keeping next day).
Room size is big, has a bath tub (did not use), a bed room and living room. No TV in bed room, TV in living room but limited TV program.
Have two huge pool, one among the blocks, one nearer to the beach.
Initial impression was not great, but after a few days, got used and get to enjoy the stay.
Good location (good local restaurants, convenient store, laundry shop nearby), great pool, breakfast consider ok but could be better.
Stayed during the end of the popular season, resort not crowded.
Will I stay again?
Yes, for the pool and during low season, less tourists.
No, will try out other resorts along the same stretch of the beach.

JJINGThere is breakfast, it is a case, the environment is very good, very feeling, very quiet, the beach is beautiful, the sunset is super beautiful, the hotel rents a motorcycle is very convenient, 250 plants solve the traffic problem one day.
