Was really looking forward to staying at this hotel at first. We arrived, no one to greet us, no one to help with our bags (especially when they have stairs out the front and we’ve travelling for 24hrs) We arrived to reception waiting to be checked in. Hotel was empty so not sure why everything took so long. Initially we accidentally booked the room for 2 nights once we realised a few days before we cancelled original booking then rebooked for 1 night (so technically we have paid twice) hotel refuses to give us refund for the first booking. (Typical Italy stealing peoples money) Then around 3pm we go sit at the bar, wait 1hr for a bartender to come serve us, still no one comes. We even asked the man at the reception desk who then replies ( im busy) … ok… Asked for more”water, reception said the same thing (it will take a while as im alone and busy” Hotel couldn’t even arrange taxi to collect us from the train station (that is not 5 star service) As we went to check out the next day they tried to charge us for alcoholic beverages (the ones we never had whilst waiting at the bar for 1hr) Looking forward to never going back to this hotel. They’re thieves who keep travelers money.

I felt like a princess in a castle. If I ever come back, I'll stay here again. The people were warm and kind, the food was really tasty and I can't tell you enough about the building, I loved the bed, the details, the bathroom and even the chandeliers. 10/10 would recommend.

Such a beautiful and impressive Hotel! You can see the ambiance and history of the building. The luxury details, the calm and relaxed atmosphere from this hotel takes you to a different world/level. The rooms are comfortable and beautiful appointed, with top amenities and luxurious toiletries that enhance the stay. The service is attentive and the stuff ensures a warm welcome.

A luxurious place, our room was big with a big bath (including two showers), all newly renovated in an old hospital building; parking is inside the gates of the hotel; breakfast was very good and rich; dinner in the hotel’s restaurant was excellent.

Recently, my family and I enjoyed a delightful two-night stay at the Grand Hotel Di Parma. The hotel was beautifully decorated with old-world charm, and our rooms and bathrooms were spacious and well-appointed. The staff was friendly and incredibly helpful. Although the hotel isn't in the city center, we found it easy to walk to all the places we wanted to visit. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Parma!

Beautiful hotel with lovely grounds. The entire hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Welcome drink upon arrival and cookies at turn down were a nice surprise. The breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious. Easy 10 minute walk to shopping and restaurants.

I can’t understand why there would be other negative reviews other than perhaps they are competitors. But my wife and I just had a two nights stay and it was absolutely wonderful. The room was spacious and comfortable and elegant, and the bathroom was very large and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The service was absolutely phenomenal as was the breakfast and drinks. We will definitely return and stay nowhere else. The next time we are in Parma.
