Silver Cloud Hotel

Nice place, very friendly staff. Simple hotel with a pleasant peaceful area. If you want to get outside the hotel there is basically nothing and you're not too close to any town area, that's the only downside. You need a taxi to all towns, treks and the airport

Service was fantastic and they went out of their way to change their meal plans to adhere to our request. They set up a massage on sort notice and we’re all incredibly friendly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting. Rinchen the manager was fantastic.

We spent three nights at the Silver Cloud Resort in Paro and absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the service was exceptional—every member of the staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to help with anything we needed. The on-site restaurant offered a fantastic breakfast spread each morning, and we chose to have dinner here all three nights because the food was consistently excellent and comforting after long days of exploring. The location is also ideal, especially if you're planning to hike up to Tiger’s Nest—it’s extremely convenient and saves you travel time early in the morning. There’s also a lovely little café right next to the hotel, run by the same management. We popped in for a cappuccino and banana walnut cake, both of which were delightful and perfect for a relaxing afternoon break. Silver Cloud is a great option for families or travelers looking for solid three-star comfort without the stuffiness or pretentiousness that sometimes comes with boutique properties. It offers great value for money, all the expected amenities, and warm Bhutanese hospitality that makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended—we’d definitely stay here again!

Our 2 nights stay in Silver Cloud hotel Paro was very good. Located in a beautiful spot around the mountains (also approx 10 mins from Tigers Nest hiking base), we felt welcomed and comfortable in this cosy property. Rooms are large and aesthetically designed, with all amenities. Staff - cordial, attentive and helpful. We also enjoyed our dinner there, neat choices and delicious. Overall, I will highly recommend to travelers.

This 3⭐️ hotel is comfortable and spacious, but is truely lifted to another level by the staff. They were warm and friendly on arrival and throughout our stay, but really excelled when my friend became ill. Their care, concern and helpfulness rose to a new level. They were watchful, attentive and even cooked special meals for her. Even without that, the kitchen provided us with the best food that we had in Bhutan. I am pleased to be able to recommend the Silver Cloud to everyone who values excellent service and I will certainly stay with them again if I return to Bhutan.
