"I had the most wonderful stay at Taktsangri-la in Paro, Bhutan. It is truly a beautiful property, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Paro. What made the experience even more special was the warmth and kindness of the host and the entire staff. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, caring, and genuinely hospitable — they made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. It honestly felt like being wrapped in one big warm hug filled with love and comfort. The hospitality, the food, the ambiance — everything was exceptional. And a special mention to the hot stone bath experience — it was absolutely magical and one of the most amazing experiences we had during our trip. If you are planning a visit to Paro, staying at Taktsangri-la is an experience in itself. Cannot recommend it enough!"

"Perfect Combination of City life and Mountain stay experience. Staff were all advance, they were ready with all my details and contacted me before 1 week of my arrival so that I can have a comfortable stay. Very helpful staff who were all open minded and made us feel comfortable I burn one appliance due to which light went off but the staff fixed everything. Hot water was unlimited as they had instant guizer and they also provided unlimited mineral water. Food was nice, they customized their regular Indian curry menu to continental set menu for me. Thank You Tshongdu Team."

"Location - excellent food - average. The food needs variety and taste. Service- varies. Poor- any minor change from the menu served, they levy extra charge. Good- room service is prompt. Hygiene - the towels are not very fresh and bathroom does not smell very fresh, maybe due to poor ventilation in the bathroom. Amenities: the resort needs to keep a luggage weighing scale for international travellers. The property has been an orchard and farm house. Morning walks are good within the resort."

"There are places you stay, and then there are places that stay with you. Taktsangri-La is certainly the latter. From the moment you arrive, the architecture makes a statement. Bold colours, beautiful Bhutanese design, and a strong sense of culture come together effortlessly. The location is just perfect. Waking up to the view of the iconic Tiger's Nest Monastery is something special. Manager Nim Den and her team are warm, kind, and always ready to help. Their hospitality feels genuine and easy. The food is simple and tasty, comforting in the best way. A special mention about the hot stone bath after the Tiger’s Nest hike, soaking in it with a stunning sunset view is such an experience. And then there are the conversations. Talking to our host, Missie, was truly inspiring. Her journey of moving from the West and choosing to make this “last Shangri-La” her home for her young child adds so much meaning to the place. Everything about Taktsangri-La felt warm, welcoming, and easy to love. Whenever Paro happens again, this is where we return!"

"Morning Breakfast to Dinner was served as per our expectation and they took extra care for us as me and my husband were in strict diet. They customize our meals and that made us very special. Also the room I was in had all the 3 main view of their Hotel which were Dzong View, Airport View and Paddy Field View. "Rema resort has staff that stands out from other hotels in terms of their punctuality, politeness and helpful attitude across the clock. The room we stayed in was right beside the river and the sound of flowing water was very soothing to sleep to. Amenities were on point and the decor was cosy with hand-painted walls. Food was excellent in their on-site restaurant and a sumptuous display of dishes always greeted us for meal times. Staff makes sure to check in and plan ahead in terms of personalised details such as packed breakfast for travellers with their guides heading out early. In the evenings, one can head out for a walk and sit by the river or amble into Paro town which is a short walk away."
