A decent hotel but personally not worth the price. The bar was constantly closed and we had to ask the front desk just to make a coffee, even over the weekend when you think they would want to make money. Location is no man’s land with some groceries and a highway next to you VERY far from center. WiFi was ok, some issues going out and in.
The pool was the highlight as we had it to ourselves for both days. Room cleaning was nice and prompt, what we would expect.
Personally both days we woke up with horrible allergies likely from their poor ventilation system. Could not open windows due to a sign from hotel suggesting Beatles would get in seasonally. Not justified for the price, just ok.

After a short stay in Lubliana, in our trip to Rome, we choose to stay one night for transit in Perugia, and I decided Perugia Plaza Hotel is our best option. We it`s look like we choose smart. The hotel it`s big, clean and the staff are very polite and speak english very well, despite the fact italian language can be easy understand. Nevertheless, we had a nice stay, even if it was for night. The rooms are quite well eqquiped with everything you might need. Breakfast was enough and more than okay, with everything you wish. The king size beds make our stay even more confortable. Parking place was a plus, because they had their own spot for cars. So, from my point of view, the hotel it`s run with proffesionalism and I will reccomand to stay..

We really loved this hotel. It has a traditional hotel feel to it, with very friendly helpful staff. We started mid July and it was very quiet, so this review may reflect that as we had the run of the pool and services due to low residency. It is situated outside of the main old town centre and of you arrive without a car as we were you will need to be of moderate fitness to walk in to the town centre as it’s a steep walk up, however there is an escalator for part of the way. I would recommend visiting the Marmore falls which you can get to from Perugia station direct via Terni. Once at terni it’s a short ride on the bus. This I would say is best to arrive early for, and spend the entire day there! Also Assisi and Solleto are two other Umbrian towns on the same train line we’ll worry a visit. Travel costs are very reasonable. Overall a great place to visit, and the Perugia hotel is a lovely place to stay. Bear in mind a bus is best to catch from the station to the hotel, as when you arrive with your luggage the pavements are in very poor condition to cart a suitcase along.

I was recently at guest at the Plaza Hotel and I would like to let everyone know about the exceptional customer service I received from Marta. I was staying with a large group, but had to return to Canada earlier than my group by myself. Marta was kind enough to find a bus that would take me to the airport with no transfers. I was nervous about finding the bus terminal so Marta took me to the bus terminal in her own car so that I could see where it was, know how much it would cost me by taxi and showed me exactly where my bus would be. I was so relieved! When I was unable to purchase a ticket in person, Marta helped me purchase a ticket online. I don’t know what I would have done without her help! When I returned to Canada, Marta, sent me a lovely e-mail making sure that I got home ok. Marta went above and beyond to make me feel less anxious about my journey to the airport. Her patience and kindness was greatly appreciated. She was incredibly helpful and I will always look fondly on my stay at the Plaza because of her! ~M. Honsinger

The hotel is extremely overpriced. They charged €150 per night for a couple. The breakfast is very simple and we usually left it hungry. The staff isn’t helpful and some of them were rude. The Wi-Fi connection is horrible and more often than not we had to turn it off and use our own 4G connection. The location is another downside: you have to walk up a hill for 30 min to get to the city center. It was clean, though. Only book here if this is your last option.

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel tre notti e devo dire che la realtà ha superato le mie aspettative. posizione strategica a due passi dalla superstrada, dotato di ampio parcheggio e nei paraggi fornito di tutte le attività essenziali. Di fronte si trova un ampio supermercato, sulla destra appena si esce dall’hotel la fermata dell’autobus che in 10 minuti arriva al centro di Perugia e inoltre anche bar, Tabacchino e stazione di servizio . Camera pulitissima dotata di ogni comfort ,personale gentilissimo e colazione abbondante Specialmente la torta con ricotta e noci . Deliziosa Continuate così. Alla prossima

"La mia esperienza presso il Plaza Hotel è stata davvero eccezionale. Dal momento in cui sono entrato, l'atmosfera accogliente e il personale attento ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa. In particolare Martina e Monia alla reception sono fantastiche, gentilissime sorridenti e professionali, mentre per quanto riguarda Celeste le consiglio di essere più sorridente e cortese verso il cliente. Sicuramente dovuta alla sua giovane età e la sua poca esperienza nel settore! Sicuramente con il tempo migliorerà. Il personale della sala e della cucina anche loro impeccabili e professionali, soprattutto Fabrizio e Marco sono due persone speciali ricche di esperienza e di vita. Non conosco il nome ma complimenti anche alla cuoca alla quale ringrazio molto. Inoltre ringrazio anche la Signora che gestisce il primo piano delle pulizie sempre impeccabile complimenti. Piccola pecca altrimenti è tutto bello, rivedrei l’insonorizzazione delle stanze. Ci ritornerò molto volentieri quando sarò in zona e lo consiglio a tutti vivamente. Grazie mille!

La struttura è ottima, il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. Nello specifico Martina e Monia sono veramente gentili. Il personale della ristorante sono molto educati, gentili e disponibili nelle varie richieste. Tutti hanno il sorriso, pronti nel dare il giusto suggerimento/informazioni. Certamente in altre occasioni ritornerò in questa struttura.
