One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in and we have travelled a lot these past 50 years. You relax as soon as you step into the reception and the welcome is so friendly. We were shown to our fantastic suite on the 7th floor by Diana the manager, with great views of the beach and sea. We had Spa access and went every day over our 3 night stay, you need to book before you go but the availability was good. The Spa looks out to the beach and sea and the Sauna and hydrotherapy pools are lovely. We also had reserved beds on the beach every day, fortunately the weather was great and we enjoyed the Lido bar and had lunch brought to our sun-beds one day, excellent club sandwich. The staff who work on the beach really look after you, 2 towels each and fresh water and they are all so professional and friendly. A special mention for the staff who clean the rooms we had a day clean and turn down service. Coffee pods always replenished, fresh water bottles (4 a day) and a chocolate on the bed like the old days. Breakfast was superb and they make a great cup of tea!

We stayed at Hotel Excelsior for 4 night in a Deluxe Sea View Room with Beach Access. Overall, it was a wonderful atmosphere and experience. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, the bathroom very well equipped for all needs. The breakfast area is exquisite decorated and relaxing. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They even helped us in booking a fantastic boat tour to explore the Adriatic coast, which we really enjoyed. The only downside was related to the beach umbrella access, witch we feel should be explained more clearly at the time of booking. While our room included in the offer 2 sunbeds and an umbrella, we were only informed after booking, via a small note in the confirmation email - and we didn't pay close enough attention to this paragraph - that our umbrella was assigned to row 8 from the sea, as the front rows are reserved for another type of rooms/ suites or for annual subscribers ... even if the front rows were unoccupied. However, after I explained that we only wanted to stay for a short time, the staff kindly allowed us to use a better place closer to the sea. We really appreciated their understanding and flexibility. That said, everything else was truly excellent, we left with good memories... We definitely recommend The Excelsior Spa Hotel!

This is a beautiful beach hotel — bright, contemporary, classily luxurious, dazzlingly clean and extremely comfortable. The hotel sits directly across the road from its own private beach, which has an outdoor bar and restaurant. The food is excellent. Thanks to Fausto, Diana and all the staff — always so attentive — for a lovely stay. We shall certainly be back. Highly recommended.

I had the pleasure of staying here recently and from the moment I arrived I felt completely at home. The staff are some of the kindest and most thoughtful people I’ve ever met. They went above and beyond throughout my stay and made what was a difficult time feel so much lighter. A very special thank you to Giulia at reception who truly became my rock during my stay. She was someone I could talk to every day about anything and her warmth and kindness meant more than I can say. The spa is absolutely beautiful especially in the evening. It is peaceful and calming and the perfect way to unwind. ♀️ The breakfast at the café was incredible. Everything was so fresh and delicious and the team even remembered my usual drink each morning which was such a lovely touch. ☕️ My room was spotless and I slept so well every night. There was a choice of pillows which made such a difference and waking up to that stunning sea view each morning was something I’ll never forget. The hotel also has bikes which made getting around so easy and enjoyable. Even though I was in and out due to hospital visits I felt completely cared for and supported the entire time. From the thoughtful touches to the genuine warmth of the people here it truly felt like a home away from home.❤️ I will absolutely be returning and next time hopefully just to relax and soak it all in. Thank you all so much for everything.

This hotel is really beautiful, both modern and classic, designed with taste and attention to details and to their guests comfort, with a superb serviced and well kept beach. Room was great, full sea view, comfortable bed, everything is spotless clean, a detail I liked is that I found a beach bag in the room, I could use everyday, very thoughtful. Breakfast was very nice and lunch was served on the beach, which is also charming. Everything is run and maintained by a team of really special and warm people both with experience and with love for what they do. Everywhere you are greeted with smiles and everybody is helpful and friendly. A special thank to Eleonora for her warm welcome, to Olha for taking care of us at each meal and to Diana for her kind recommendations! It’s a place where we want to return soon!

Choose this hotel as we had a wedding in Fossenbrome. It was hard to find somewhere closer than 50 mins away from the venue. However, having settled on this hotel which we found on line - all of the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel itself was a minutes walk to the beach - it was a lovely serviced beach offering free bottles of water and a restaurant where you could have your lunch or by your sun bed. The rooms were more than adequate and if I found myself in this area, I would definitely stay again.

We loved everything about this hotel. A lot of thought has gone into the decor of the rooms, public rooms and lighting. The staff couldn't be nicer- warm, friendly and helpful. The beach club is a real plus as you can eat there and there is a lovely bar too. We also liked the spa and the treatments. Unusually for a hotel, the restaurant is as good as any in Pesaro and only a little more expensive than the average local one but well worth it. We ate there a number of times and were never disappointed. The menu is good, as it remains true to the local area and does not go down the Michelin road of fancy food, something we never want in Italy- it is really local Italian but on a slightly higher level. All inclusive breakfast buffet is great too. All in all a great experience.
