It is a nice resort for a young family. Please note it is quite away from Playa de america beach and on a steep hill. We had our room at the top of the hill, almost felt like going up 4 floors to get to the room. Limited vegetarian options in hot food. This is quite common with any other resort in Canary Islands. So be ready to compromise on it.
We got 4 single beds. If you are a couple who need a double bed, this could be a problem 😉.
Parking is €5 per day although hotel is far away from beaches. This is something they should provide free. No option outside to park due to steep hill.
We requested to move our room lower as my wife has asthma but not much of luck.

The hotel is lovely and the staff are incredibly friendly and this is what makes the hotel it really does. We visited for a last minute few days break in jan 2025. The weather was a mixed bag some days felt like home with the rain haha but the rest of the time very good. Rooms are spotless we got upgraded to a pool view room 153 which was spot on. Air con worked perfectly and the beds were comfortable. Slight issue the kitchen light didn’t work and the rest are very dim so could represent a safety issue when going down the stairs to the bathroom at night time. The window to the kitchen wasn’t securely shut but it was high off the floor so no concern to us but others may not like this. It has two large pools and a baby pool which we always got a space around and was lovely as it was clearly heated ! Snack bar was a little hard to find as not sign posted anywhere but we found this on our last day. The hotel is however far away from the main resort area and it’s a good 30 min walk however the hill ( mountain ) you have to climb back to the hotel is honestly ridiculous, I didn’t realise I was mountain climbing! We loved the hotel and staff and the food was good for our short break, however Tenerife we found unfortunately a little boring and not much to do in resorts couldn’t be returning anytime soon. If we did come back we would highly recommend returning to this hotel but only for a few days as is plenty for a break in the sun.

I couldn’t fault this hotel, staff were friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, we loved the snacks, the rooms are 2 story apartments with a all round view, kitchen, living room, large bathroom and bedroom, television in both living room and bedroom and grounds were spotless, we would gladly stay here again

Visited Gran Oasis Resort for 5 days from 12.1.25 for a lovely winter break. Weather during our stay was beautiful with blue skies and whole sun for over 10 hours each day and temperatures around 22/23 degrees. The hotel has a strange set up with many rooms/suites which are split over 2 floors. Upstairs there is a kitchen area and a double bed and downstairs there is another double bed with full bathroom. We stayed downstairs where we could easily access the bathroom as the stairs between the floors were quite difficult to navigate and are definitely not safe for children moving between the floors. We stayed in rooms 16 and 17 which were based at the back of the resort close to the Dual carriageway but noise from the traffic wasn’t an issue. We stayed on an All Inclusive basis and although there was only one restaurant the food choice was varied and there was always plenty of food to eat during Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. From 11am to 6pm there was also a snack bar where you could help yourself to both hot and cold snacks. The staff at this hotel work extremely hard and were always very friendly and welcoming. This hotel is aimed at families with children which wasn’t an issue but many of these families had ‘school aged’ children on holiday during school time when should have been at school. There were also a number of families with younger children too. We would highly recommend this hotel for a break of up to 7 days but anything longer would be too long. Please be aware that this hotel isn’t near the resort centre or the beach but is in an ‘away from it all’ location which was ideal for us but may not suit all. You can get to the resort centre/beach by going down a very steep hill.

This hotel is situated about half an hour walk to Playa de las Americas which was fine for us. Downhill on way in, uphill on way back. We had a 2 bed upstairs downstairs apartment which was lovely. The staff were amazing and the pool area really nice. The sun beds are very close together but a sensible approach to moving them meant you had space. Everything was extremely clean and the bar staff fantastic, you never waited for a drink. The reception staff were great and answered any questions you had. Our only issue was with the food. It was a very small selection, not like any other all inclusive we have stayed at, and some of it was a bit cold. They had a BBQ one day and the burgers were cold by the time we queued up for the food. Apart from that it a brilliant family hotel (we were a couple). Lots of entertainment throughout the day and evening.

Fantastic 5 night stay at Gran Oasis resort! Everything you need for a fab holiday… good food… fabulous accommodation (2 storey 2 bed) good fun evening entertainment…it’s in the middle of Cristianos and Americas which we liked and only 6-8€ in a taxi to either if you don’t want to walk, Special mention to Renata! Wonderful, kind, caring lady… highly recommend Gran Oasis!

I want to share our great experience at The Gran Oasis. Firstly, we are a family with young children and stayed bed and breakfast so didn’t experience the all inclusive package. We were slightly concerned that this hotel was quite remote when reading some earlier reviews but I think that’s an exaggeration, it’s a pleasant 25 min walk downhill to Los Cristianos which is buzzing with great restaurants, bars and a lovely beach promenade. We tended to get a taxi back to the hotel which was never more than €6 and we never waited more than a minute or two. The prices in the restaurants were excellent (for example a fillet steak for €19.50) which is half what we would pay back in the UK. We have found the prices of the food excellent. As for the hotel itself, the rooms were spacious and very pleasant. The cleaners kept it well tidy and we had to call maintenance out once for a battery replacement to the door handle, the maintenance guy arrived before we got back from reception and had it fixed in minutes, superb. The food was good, equally as good as anything we’ve had from hotels double the price. As stated earlier we only had breakfast so can’t comment on the evening although our relatives that stayed all inclusive said it was great with a different theme each night. Finally the entertainment team were great, we got involved in aqua aerobics and water polo during the day which was lots of fun and the evening entertainment was also good with Motown singers, quizzes and karaoke. All of which were great. In summary, our holiday has been fantastic so thank you goes to the hotel staff. We have one day left which we intend to fully enjoy and given the excellent value for money we have already rebooked for next January. Oh, and the weather has been fantastic!

Writing this while getting ready to leave after an excellent 10 day break with my family. Right from check-in with the lovely Carlos we knew we had made the right decision in where we picked to stay. Every single staff member on site has been lovely and so very accommodating and made the stay incredibly enjoyable. The domestic team were fantastic and should be highly praised as they done a brilliant job. The food was excellent and there was plenty of choice and we managed to keep our fussy eater alive for 10 days. A massive thanks to the entertainment staff who were incredible and went all out to ensure everyone had a good time and were included, especially when my son sung on Karoke our first night here and the encouragement they gave him, renee and her team are amazing and remembering all the children’s names can’t be an easy task when they see so many but they done it. I will end with saying that we can’t wait to return next year for my 40th, we are already booked up and counting down ♥️
