What a shame. Reviews and photography are good. Reality lets it down. We had a room on the second floor attic. It looked lovely, would have photographed beautifully. Every detail let this room down. Parts of it were dusty. In the mini bar was 4 beers, 3 cokes and a tiny bottle of water. Nowhere to get any more water. Restaurant closed, no one on reception. Water out of the cold tap ran warm and never went cold. There were 3 pods for the coffee maker, no milk. When we arrived we were told not to use the beautiful antique bath but the shower worked. The shower did not work. No water came from it. It had probably not worked for eons on closer inspection. The final indignity came at breakfast when you had to get your own coffee from a coffee maker by pressing a button on the machine. And breakfast was €20 each. Final note - the bathroom was open. Which is fine if you like to watch your partner using the loo from the comfort of your bed. This gets 2 stars only because the bed was comfy. A triumph of style over substance and they wanted €245 for the room! That is a joke

Heerlijk geslapen in een goed bed, goede kussens en geen omgevingsgeluid. Lekker ontbijt. Zaterdagavond lekker gegeten in hun restaurant Pegasus, authentieke omgeving. Goede ligging om Poperinge te verkennen zonder de drukte van de markt.

Ontvangen door de uitbaatster en haar zoon.Een warm en hartelijk welkom. Prachtige kamer in het oude,romantische deel van het hotel.Heel goed geslapen.Het ontbijt wordt geserveerd in het moderne deel en het buffet was compleet met huisgerookte zalm en lokale producten. Een aanrader waar je je welkom en thuis voelt.

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in dit prachtige hotel! De gastvrouw was bijzonder vriendelijk en zo gastvrij. Mijn moeder is slecht ter been en ze heeft het ontbijt speciaal voor ons beneden gereserveerd. Kamer was prachtig en de bedden erg goed.

Een overnachting in een « designkamer » in het nieuwe gebouw. Centraal en rustig gelegen. Parking voor de deur. Heel ruime kamer en badkamer. Een beetje merkwaardige kamerinrichting, maar wel prettig. Groot bed. Prima ontbijt in aangename, lichte ruimte met goede koffie en ruime keuze.

Telkens weer een fantastische ervaring.De supervriendelijkheid van de gastvrouw, de perfecte bediening, de luxueuze kamers, een meer dan uitgebreid,verzorgd ontbijt en het exquis 5-gangen menu doen je leven als God in...Poperinge,hotel Recour.Een buitengewoon super prijs/kwaliteit arrangement. O hotel é em estilo romântico! Quartos aconchegantes e a equipe foi muito gentil. Os quartos são bons e a localização é excelente. Pontos positivos: localização próxima do centro, banheiro bom, com uma banheira de hidromassagem, televisão, cama confortável e frigobar no quarto. A equipe é muito gentil. Há máquina de café. Pontos negativos: embora o hotel tenha estacionamento, não é bem sinalizado. Fica atrás do hotel; portanto deve- se parar em frente ao hotel, descarregar as malas e depois, guardar o carro. Não há uma boa vista para a cidade. O comércio da cidade fecha às 22h, portanto deve- se chegar ao hotel até às 21h. E a partir, deste horário não tem mais nada aberto.

Klassiek hotel in het centrum van Poperinge. Kamers liggen verspreid tussen een historisch pand en een recenter gebouw achteraan in de tuin. Verblijf in het historisch karaktervol pand. Zeer ruime kamer met terras. Gelet op historisch karakter van het pand werkt de airco suboptimaal. Goed ontbijt met lokale specialiteiten ( lees, kaas, edm.) dat zowel binnen als op het terras wordt geserveerd. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid (privé en publiek). Restaurant Pegasus in het hotel is ook aan te raden.
