"Excellent stay and location. The rooms are well-appointed and have air conditioning which was nice. We enjoyed the "refined" dinner option one evening and it was a fabulous. Terrific service by the owners and Victoria (their daughter's name if I remember correctly). The pool was nice and refreshing too. Our only regret was that we didn't plan on staying longer. Next time! Thank you for a great stay."

"When we booked this we did not realise that this place is actually a museum, Talbot House was a second home for the soldiers of WWI, acting as a place to escape the gruels of war. The staff is very friendly, besides a little dust the place is clean and well kept. It has a beautiful garden to relax in while you admire the work and plants. Breakfast has breads with a choice of sweet and salty toppings, many fruits, cereals, and a full array of drinks. The cat is an absolute cuddle-bug and very friendly, 10/10, would pet again. Can definitely recommend staying here, good price/quality ratio."

"We, a group of 36 cyclist, invaded this hotel as we almost took all rooms it has. Those rooms are not all in the main building. I stayed for example in a dependance 50 meters down the road, but that room was spacious! Good shower, private toilet on the hallway, very good beds and a terrace. A tiny lift brings you to the floors. We booked as a group half board, which was magnificent! Buffet breakfast with everything you want, specifically as cyclist there was plenty of food to get you through the cycling day. Dinner was even better with almost Michelin quality food. Certainly the service was at that level."

"A nice relaxing hotel run and staffed by lovely people Robin was very helpful and flexible when booking and arranged a garage for our small scooter as only public parking was available. Booking in was a smooth process and our room was clean and comfortable we had a meal every night in the restaurant and to food was very good with seamless service by happy cheerful staff they have a good selection of beers. we had breakfast every day and i must say it was superb and good value with a excellent choice of buffet food. booking out was a swift process without being rushed. our room overlooked the main square and road but we were not disturbed by any noise. we will certainly use this hotel again.
