The hotel is well located. You can walk along the embankment to the city center. There is also a tourist train nearby that costs four euros per person. They check you in quickly. Check out before 12:00

We are staying here at the moment having stayed at a great hotel the other side of porec multiple times (Park Resort) and the hotel in itself is not shabby or run down and has decent facilities, but is not really for people with young families. We were given a room which looks like it has come straight from the 80’s with us huge solid wood cupboards and furniture. There could be so much more space if they simply removed this and put some cheap modern furniture in like the ones in the pictures! Needless to say our room looks nothing like the pictures! You also have to pay for a fridge in this hotel too which is another €50 and is not exactly the coldest or most powerful. I asked at reception having known this from other reviews and it’s been added to my bill even though when I got there I think there was already a fridge in there and one next door where my son and mother in law are staying- they haven’t added a fridge but theirs barely works! When I said the fridge was already in there so why should I have to pay I was told that they managed to put it in the room within the minute I walked from reception to room- yeah I doubt that! Sofa bed after spending 20 min removing 10 tonne 1980 cushions and throws and dodging the huge wooden furniture is very uncomfortable. Nowhere to really store suitcases or put buggy The hotel is quite possibly the most inaccessible hotel I have ever stayed in: - there are steps EVERYWHERE and 3 tiny lifts that only go from certain level. - steps by the pool, steps to get to the lift, steps to the restaurant, steps to the bar, steps to all the other bathing and pool areasj - most of the steps are just too wide that you can’t even gradually ease the buggy up so you ok literally have to carry it all the time! - all pool areas have small amount of sun beds which by 11am are all taken and before midday the here are literally no loungers AT ALL - yet most of them are empty for hours at a time if not the whole day - there is only one route down to the sea front and to all the different pools and it’s like a rabbit warren with no simple gates or openings to allow you to move freely between the different spaces. - for example if no sun loungers and want to sit on hammocks or grass, you have to walk all the way round because there are glass divides all around except a single entrance, and you guessed it- more steps!ii There was a stuff around this hotel but not loads and everything is at least a few minute walk. The ‘mini shop’ is pathetic and has no food or drinks really and just full of ‘tat’ and it opens at random times- best off walking a bit to a half decent market. There are a few nice little pebble coves but the sea was horrible with some dirty looking film on it or something right where you would expect to take the kids in normally. Having visited another plava Laguna I wouldn’t stay here again as most of the staff are pretty miserable too compared to the normal people we have come across in previous visits to

Lovely hotel in a perfect setting, close enough to town with a regular mini train service if you don’t fancy the 15-20 minute walk in to town. Plenty of spots to sit, inside & out, very attentive staff (Eval, Martina & young Stefan especially), good choices at breakfast & dinner - I would be amazed if anyone couldn’t find something they like! Would love to return! Only negative is it isn’t great for anyone with mobility issues due to the number of steps.

A decent hotel with everything you would need, safe 3 euros a day, room was small but did have a walk in shower, no fridge was a disappointment. TV was on a side wall not ideal when watching. Pools ok but the hotel which had a policy of after an hour if the sunbeds were not occupied the towels were taken off. Alas the manager would not enforce this rule when I confronted him about this as he didn't want the hassle from other guests but was happy for me to take the towels off which a guest should not have to do. So good luck finding a sunbed after 10am. Food was good but not spectacular but the hotel did provide free beer and wine and soft drinks with your meal. The sunbed debacle totally spoilt my stay hence the poor score, enforce your policy and it would have been a 4 score.

Perfect stay for family. Sea is about hundred meters away, swimming pool and playground for children also available. And very good kids club. Our child loved spending time there and loved spending time with Kika, the girl in charge of the child corner !. it was great fun for our family !

I’d never been to Croatia ever before, However, what a fabulous experience, especially solo. The resort reminds me of Centre Parcs by the sea. Fabulous location, safe, walking, swimming, tennis, table tennis etc… set in a wooded Laguna. Friendly Locals and great hotel, lovely food, relaxed atmosphere. Definitely worth another trip. Way better than Spain!

This was my first journey to Croatia, though not for one of us… who was here in the early 80’s. So, not many Brits at this hotel, predominantly Northern Europeans, German, Austrian, Dutch. That suited us, it might not suit everyone. Rooms are very comfortable and although perhaps a little basic, just what you need. Staff are excellent, helpful, friendly, a little reserved but I prefer them to not be in your face. Food, although a little canteen style, is very good quality and a good variety, and plenty of it! You would be hard pressed to say you found nothing to enjoy, and adverts the week, the quality was very good. Pool facilities were good and always cleaned in the evening. The bar was not overpriced, did good basic lunch snack food, burgers etc… The location of the hotel is very good for a good wander along the coast and up into Poreć, which is a lovely town with shops and history and bars and restaurants and a harbour offering anything you might want to do on the water. World I return? Absolutely yes, I’d explore a little more and further, but overall, I really enjoyed the hotel and facilities and the Istrian peninsula in general.
