"Location is quite nice, close to the sea, great pools, lots of greenery etc but I feel this place has a lot to learn to compete with international standard, especially when it comes to service. Many of the people working here are utterly unprofessional and lots of young people without real experience in service sector. First day they refused to give us towels by the pool !!?? And we got told off in a very rude way for bringing drinks to our sun beds even though we asked the pool bar staff if it was ok. People are also reserving sun beds first thing in the morning, then leave for breakfast and whatnot. There are barely any sunbeds available! Pool bar is under staffed so you have to wait in line and people do not always respect waiting in line. Some staff were amazing on the other hand, the older ones with experience, like Marinko at the breakast buffé. Not sure if I will visit again. The area and surroundings kind of makes up for it but Parentium really really needs to step up in terms of quality of service."

"We just returned from a fabulous holiday at the Garden Suites Plava Laguna. A family of four, with two girls of 10 and five year-old. I couldn’t read that many reviews about this place so here is mine and I hope this helps others. We flew into Paula’s airport which is roughly 45 minutes away. Unfortunately, it is not well connected so the only way to get to the location was either through arrange transport via Thomas Cook (who we used for this package holiday) or be a taxi which cost us roughly £90 each way. We were in a Garden suite (number 654) so location wise was fantastic because it was just opposite the main pool. They don’t do all-inclusive here so we had half board with huge variety of food at breakfast and dinner. All drinks are included during breakfast and at dinner you can also help yourself to beer or red or white wine. The food is very decent. I thoroughly enjoyed even the pizza (which being Napolitan did surprise me how nice it was). There were always free sunbeds available. The water of the pools must be some heated because it was very pleasant. They also have the wellness Centre where you can relax in the sauna and small Jacuzzi. It’s very close to a lot of bar restaurants and quite close to. Porec town. The only downside I guess is that there is no pharmacy nearby. My Little to go developed a chest infection so I had to take her to a nearby medical Centre. It was just a 10 minute walk but for some reason they suggested me to get a taxi and ended up cost €10 for a two minutes ride. But after that, they were incredibly kind and sent one of their stuff to the pharmacy to get The ***** that doctorate prescribed for my daughter this is what is prompting me mostly to write this Review. They went completely out of their way to help, they could’ve suggested that I could’ve gone to the pharmacy in another Taxi, instead they tried their absolute best to help and we are very appreciative for that. The place is incredibly clean and tidy, the room gets cleaned every day. And it’s very spacious. We’re at ground floor so lots of space in front of us as well with an afternoon sandwich which was perfect. They have a mini disco up past eight every night for the children and then just a very light show with some singers which was a very pleasant change for us compared to the usual noisy (atrocious) shows the last till late at night. The sea is also very close. It’s just a little walk away. We did two excursions, one was a BBQ cruise recommended by the lovely Annika in the Plava Laguna experiences shop which is located inside the hotel. The second excursion was half a day in Trieste. We felt this was quite a bit expensive, but we had an amazing time and the best ice cream ever at Gelato Marco. All stuff speaks mostly German and Italian but also English so great chances to communicate. This is definitely a place we would return to quite happily. The room we had allocated did make a huge difference to our vacation so thank you Vasilije for picking"

"The hotel is very modern and very well maintained. As for the rooms, they are large with a terrace. (lacking a coffee machine or a water heater). Upon arrival, no explanation about the hotel, its facilities (gym, swimming pool, etc.) The staff is not really helpful. Especially the barmaid who was not friendly at all. The buffet is quite well provided for both breakfast and dinner. (Bad point for the coffee at breakfast, the coffee is served in Thermoses and not great.) No worries about the availability of deckchairs and access to the beach is easy. (no sand here but rocks). For those who have an electric or hybrid vehicle, there is a charger (only 1) but free. It is up to fair play to free up the space once your vehicle is charged. The hotel is very modern and very well maintained.
