We went to the restaurant of Villa del Mer. This is definitely worth it. The staff is super friendly and the food was perfect. We had the chicken curry and sweet and sour chicken. That all and the atmospheric setting made it a very nice dinner. You dit beat the beach, the taboes and napkins are linen and you get bread with salted butter. Top!

We only knew about this place as after one trip, our driver dropped us at the wrong place by mistake, only 100m from our hotel, the restaurant is hidden down the back and not even mentioned on Trip Advisor. However, we ate there - pretty much the same food - twice as it was so good. My wife had spaghetti and my fish curry had a unique flavour and the waiting staff were all very friendly. Excellent food

LOVELY place...VERY nice and friendly staff...WONDERFUL food and environment....tasty and quality dinner...nice and cute surprise at birthday dinner! Tasty fish ...good wines...If you are in Praslin you should not miss this little Pearl!

1 star because it is mandatory to leave a comment. If it were up to me, I wouldn't put any. Staff unwelcoming or aggressive. We come back from an excursion and there is no water to take a shower. No information given in advance to organize, no bottle of water in the room, the staff does not seem to know anything, it is extremely hot. The manager is not even there to explain himself to the many dissatisfied customers. They still filled the pool... to the brim... It's nonsense and doesn't give a damn about the customers. Older clientele. Too close to the airport The beach isn't pretty and the area isn't great.

Very nice boutique hotel. Few rooms so quiet. Very welcoming staff. Very nice and comfortable rooms. Very good restaurant, we feasted every day with local specialties and fresh fish. the Chef gave us beautiful presentations of his dishes and the restaurant staff are incredibly kind and very helpful. The only downside was the private beach covered in seaweed throughout our stay (10 days). It has never been cleaned so we couldn't use it. We had to go to other beaches on the island. The swimming pool was not often cleaned, the water full of gnats.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. Upon arrival we were offered a welcome drink and the room was delivered to us before the scheduled check in time. The receptionist provided us with useful information for visiting the island and how to access some beaches. The superior room was spacious, well furnished and clean. The spacious bathroom has a large shower. The breakfast buffet offered bread, jams, crêpes, yoghurt etc and on request it was possible to have omelettes, scrambled eggs etc. The only flaw, but the hotel can do very little, is the access and usability of the beach as this is the seaweed season in this part of the island. Consequently we requested to rent a car from reception who promptly proceeded to contact a local agency for delivery the next morning. Last but not least, the hotel has a swimming pool and parking. Groceries nearby. Good value for money.

As a "repeater" we got an upgrade to one of the "Villas" (a slightly larger room), but that wouldn't have been necessary since the other rooms are also very nice. Breakfast and dinner (we had half board) were still very good. The shuttle bus to Anse Lazio was canceled due to Corona, but transport by public bus was no problem. Would also book here for the third time. The only downside: sandflies on the beach, which cause terribly itchy bites.

Alors pour commencer le petit déjeuner et horrible on commence une journée part un petit déjeuner alors que la c plus un petit déjeuner c 2 chose a manger qui son horrible 2 chose la connexion (le wifi) marche a moitié comme on ne peut pas jouer à Brawl stars !! On peut que envoyer des messages avec de la chance 3 la mer qui et devant et horrible algues et à quelques du dépit de l’eau il y a Beaucoup de raie le risque c que si on ne l’ai voit pas on marche dessus et on a mal 1 semaine douleur atroce et si c plus grave amputation, ils nous préviennent pas, heureusement qu’on a vu des pêcheurs locales qui nous ont averti aller à d’autres plages plus connues.
