Sunrise Pearl Hotel & Spa

Just back from the most perfect 5 night break with my daughter. Amazing, amazing, amazing, utter 5 Star bliss from beginning to end............from the fruit skewers brought around to you on a silver platter by the pool to the turndown service with Belgian chocs. Staff are wonderful without exception - they simply cannot do enough for you and always with a smile - they all speak good English too. Deluxe sea view room on the 3rd floor was wonderful with a sofa seating area as well. We did flexi dine - basically I had booked B & B and on check in they offered us 5 nights for 4 eating out in one of 6 restaurants - the Hotel owner also owns restaurants on the '*****' outside the hotel and you just go with your pre-paid voucher and eat from the a la carte menu with no exceptions. I paid 240 euro for 5 dinners for 2. Would highly recommend that option, the hotel buffet is gorgeous but nice to have a change, we ate Italian, Brazilian, Asian Fusion, Greek. Beach was lovely and sandy and sea easy to get in to - it's a 'public' beach but beautifully looked after and sunbeds and parasols are only a few Euro's a day unlike some other resorts around the Med etc. All in all do not pass this place by oh and the white fluffy dressing gowns and slippers are not to be missed as is the fact that your sunbed is booked for you for the entire stay so no need to do that scrambling for sunbeds thing at silly o'clock in the morning! Well done to all the staff and as they say 'I shall return'. Bravo!

Lovely hotel had 10 days staff are lovely very friendly and happy room was lovely and clean soft bed good facilities we have used the spa which was very nice and relaxing the swimming pools were ok after you got in but we was early April, I will come back to this location as I feel it has everything nice beaches close by some lovely restaurants all walking distance, breakfast is really good and cater for the British people the is a lovely feel to the hotel and not overly expensive has a adult only pool so keeps it nice and quiet if you don’t like to hear the kids enjoying themselves, gets a 10 out of 10 from me

Generally a good experience. Pros for us: Dinners in the restaurants were delicious and the wines on offer were lovely. The allocated sunbeds worked brilliantly and helped add relaxation. All staff were very friendly! The hotel is well kept, clean and well designed. Room spacious and had good facilities. Housekeeping excellent and did a great job. Kids club fantastic. Cons: Breakfast was chaotic, there needs to be more indoor space allocated and I agree with a recent reviewer that the coffee is poor. That was the low point dining wise for us. Lots on offer but felt it a bit lacking somehow. Exactly the same thing every day. For us the bed, whilst big, wasn’t comfortable and we did not sleep well. Lack of atmosphere… no music round the pool areas, even just a little acoustic music would help. There was generally a lack of atmosphere, I appreciate out of season but the hotel was still mostly full - yet somehow felt lifeless. No entertainment at all in the evening in this hotel. I don’t really understand ‘out of season’ if the hotel is mostly full. Needs a bit more character and soul injected into it. Personal preference but we weren’t overly keen on the area, the first restaurants that greet you as you come out of the hotel are kfc and Pizza Hut. Too commercialised for us. Generally we had a good time and appreciate the hotel and the hard work that goes into it. Personally, we probably won’t return though.

We stayed in a sea view suite for two weeks at the beginning of last year and we had an absolutely fantastic time. The suite was amazing with stunning views of the sea - this is without doubt the nicest suite I’ve every stayed in. The hotel and its facilities are also fantastic but what really makes this hotel special is the staff. Every single member of staff at this hotel went above and beyond during our stay and absolutely nothing was too much trouble for them. There are too many people to mention/thank but Vera on reception was amazing, as was Kiriaki in the bar, who always took time to entertain our young son. The food at the hotel was also great. We’re vegan and often struggle to get any kind of decent breakfast when away but the breakfast here was wonderful. As soon as I explained our diet the chef took me around the buffet to explain exactly which items of food were suitable. He also cooked us separate vegan sausages every morning. There are so many great things about this hotel, including its fabulous location – positioned with the ***** at the front and the stunning beach directly behind - but if I had to pick the best thing about this hotel it would have to be the kids’ club run by Kyriaki and Katerina who were both absolutely amazing and undoubtedly made our five year old son’s holiday. He’s not usually a fan of holiday clubs but this kids’ club was definitely the highlight of his stay. In fact, it was the reason we chose to stay at Sunrise Pearl in the first place, after I stayed on my own with my son at the neighbouring Sunrise Beach (also a fantastic hotel) the year before and was given access Sunrise Pearls’ kids’ club facilities. I was apprehensive that holidaying alone with a young child might be a bit of a challenge, but Kyriaki was wonderful and made my son feel so welcome that he couldn’t wait to return and I managed to have a break everyday which was a massive (and unexpected) help! Our stay at Sunrise Pearl was no different and we got time to relax everyday while our son enjoyed his time in kids’ club. I can’t recommend Sunrise Pearl highly enough and we can’t wait to return.

We booked as part of a Tui package and we chose the Sunrise Pearl because of it's excellent Tripadvisor reviews. Location is first class, being near the centre of the town, yet with access straight onto the beach. The evening buffet was excellent (we were half-board) and all the staff were superb. Lots of choice for breakfast. Evening entertainment was courtesy of the hotel next door which is accessed through the garden (it's part of the same group) but we remained at the Sunrise Pearl because we just wanted to relax quietly instead. Our sea view room was clean and spacious with excellent facilities. Sun-loungers are allocated when you first visit the beach. We weren't keen on the initial choice of position, but it was straightforward to get a better one the next day when other guests had departed. All-in-all, a most enjoyable stay.
