Late review / never got round to posting! Our family of four (kids age 4 and 9) visited St Elias in mid-October for 1 week and it was everything we had read in the reviews and more. Upon arrival we were nervous as were given a ground floor room but had asked for first floor as our youngest tends to wander off. The manager Flouris was there to greet us and assured me I would be happy with the room. Another staff manager then showed us to our 1 bedroom suite, carried our bags and gave us a quick tour of the site. The rooms were huge, clean, and had everything we needed - fridge was stocked with water which is a nice touch after a lot of travelling. The balcony was the biggest I have ever seen and was fully enclosed - it could also be accessed from the bedroom . As we were settling in Floris came and checked we were happy. We had one problem with the room - one evening the shower tray wouldn’t empty. We called reception and someone came round in 5 mins and it was fixed less than ten. So all good! There are two pool areas, a quieter one and a family area. With splash pool and waterslides so both kids were happy! There was entertainment all day round the pool such as water polo, quiz’s, darts etc. It’s the first holiday I’ve been on in years where there were no sunbed wars and there were enough to go round. The kids also loved the pool snack bar so much that we only went to the restaurant for lunch a couple of times. They ate nuggets, fries and ice cream on repeat! The on to the buffet restaurant - it’s hands down the best all inclusive food we’ve ever had. It was a bit hectic at peak times but it was worth it and it’s lovely that they serve you drinks rather than have to collect them and food for you and the kids. Breakfast had everything you could think of and was lovely and then there was a theme every night like Italian, or Mexican etc and there was just so much choice. Even the fussy 9 year old never went hungry. We also booked and visited the Al Carte restaurant Meze one evening and this was one of the best meals we’ve ever had! It’s a traditional Greek tasting menu and it’s a lovely change of pace from the buffet spending the evening being wined and dined. On to the evening entertainment - the kids loved it and so did we. It’s not what you get in some huge hotels that bring in outside acts but the girls work so hard to put on an amazing show every night. Annabelle’s voice is amazing and Jess and Hazel, Anna, Ellie went out of their way every day to involve the kids and chat with us. Other little things to mention the hourly shuttle bus to town and beach was a god send and we used it most days! There is a beautiful church on the hill right next to the hotel. Bit of a walk up the steps but well worth it for the golden hour views! All in all we had a wonderful time and will be back!

We stayed here in October half term last year and absolutely loved it so we’ve just booked today to return in the summer! It’s a stunning place to stay. Rooms are clean and spacious and we had a huge balcony. The staff are brilliant and make you feel so welcome and well looked after. The food is amazing and a massive factor for us re-booking to go again - easily the best all-inclusive food we’ve ever had. We already cannot wait to be back!

I had high expectations after reading other Trip Adviser reviews and I wasn't disappointed. The hotel was clean, well kept and the staff were amazingly attentive. The pool areas were ideal for our children aged 7 & 11 and it was the best AI food we've had with something for everyone and well presented. It is set back from the ***** but we preferred that so you could venture into the busier areas of Protaras when you wanted or enjoy the tranquility of the hotel. A special mention to the Manager Flouris who went above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble. I'm not one for making return visits to the same hotel but I would make an expectation for St Elias due to the great management by Flouris and we have so many great memories of our time there! We spent the week over Easter in a one bedroom apartment. Very spacious with real beds for the kids. We had requested a quiet room which is exactly what we received. There were 2 main pools, all of which had plenty of sun beds available. We spent the week at the upper pool with the water slides which were great fun for all. Pool bar had drinks and snack always available which were great. Good variety of food and drink with different theme nights. Every single member of staff was friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay special. There was entertainment to suit everybody. Although the entertainment team only started the week before, they were all really engaging. Special shout out for Ryan who spent time learning everyone’s name and always interacted brilliantly. Can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Wonderful holiday at St. Elias, would definitely return! The staff are all amazing - from reception and bar staff to lifeguards, all so kind and seemed happy at work, wanting guests to have a great holiday. The entertainment here is the best we’ve experienced, not because it was the most spectacular but the team went above and beyond to ensure kids (& adults!) of all ages were included and had fun. A special mention to Ryan who was so personable with everyone and has a gift of being able to connect with younger kids and teenagers - fantastic singer & dancer, he was the star of our holiday and all the parents I spoke to said the same! Darts, archery, pool games, aqua aerobics, team games, quizzes & kids club - they did it all!! Food was delicious and just the right amount to prevent being wasteful and overwhelming. Keo, Estrella, Strongbow, cocktails, mocktails, milkshakes & iced coffee available at all bars. Plenty comfy sun loungers, shops and bars around 10-15min walk away (down the hill, turn right then left), and the grounds were very well kept and clean. Things that could be improved to make it excellent - Rooms were spacious but could benefit from voile panels rather than just curtains to allow privacy without darkness given apartments are at low level. The water in our fridge wasn’t topped up once during our stay despite is being told it would be, ok if we remembered to do it ourselves but annoying in the morning if we forgot. At the start of the week a fridge at the bar was stocked to help yourself but this was empty our last few days and the bar opened at 10am so there was nowhere to collect bottles till then. Tea, coffee & milk not topped up either which for “ultra all inclusive” you do expect. The shower is heated by solar panels and you have to press the button to heat up the water 15-20mins before use, this worked fine some nights and other nights we got lukewarm water…despite me setting a timer so I knew it had been on the same length of time as the previous night. After dinner finished, (9pm), there was nowhere to get snacks which I found strange again for what is advertised as “ultra all inclusive”. The spa were very hesitant to change pool towels for fresh ones the twice we asked! You will have a fabulous holiday if visiting St Elias - perfect place for a family with kids of any age!

I meant to write this review as we returned from holiday in April 24 but am only just getting round to it now. We travelled with extended family and there was 10 of us 6 adults and 4 children between the ages of 8 and 6 months. We all had a brilliant time. My nephew has coeliac disease and the hotel went above and beyond to help him. Unfortunately the manager wasn’t there when we arrived and due to some miscommunication he did have some gluten very early on and was very sick but they dealt with it very well and the manager came and helped him at dinner every night bringing him out special puddings and everything so he had a brilliant time the whole rest of the holiday with no issues at all. The pools were chilly but absolutely useable and the slides were brilliant. The entertainment team were fantastic, so friendly with both kids and adults and really made an effort to involve everyone. The kids loved the mini disco and the entertainment afterwards was enjoyed by all the adults. The gym could have done with some free weights. The food was the best all inclusive food I have ever experienced, so fresh and delicious and really varied every day with local foods to try and fussy friendly food too. Drinks were good with slushies for kids and good cocktails for adults. The Prosecco wasn’t very nice but there were so many other drinks to choose from. Rooms were nice though didn’t feel particularly luxury. The surroundings are beautiful and worth walking up the hill to the church for the view! Would definitely stay again.

Just returned from a week at Louis St Elias hotel in Protaras and we had to write this review to share our wonderful experience there. This is a cut above the usual all inclusive resort!! Firstly the varied low-level attractive accommodation is spread out over the pretty landscaped sloping site with stunning pools on two levels as well as apartments with private pools. Set back a little from the town with beautiful views out to sea. Regular bus shuttles drop into town to go to the many sandy beaches on this coastline. The atmosphere for children is wonderful, they can go off exploring safely, be entertained by the fabulous team and make lots of friends. The food is amazing, we didn't eat out once! Usually we get bored of the food at all inclusive resorts and eat out a few times. This was unecessary at St Elias as the menu changed daily and was of a very high standard. Delicious local foods along with a different theme each evening. The staff along with the exceptional hotel manager, Flouris, made our holiday extra special with their kind and attentive service. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Having visited over a dozen Greek resorts with our family, we certainly rate this as the best by a long way, it is an exceptional resort in a lovely setting. Do not hesitate to visit with your family and have a wonderful experience.

My partner and I stayed for a week in September and had the best time! We were greeted by 2 lovely members of staff after a late flight, including the hotel manager, who is a credit to his hotel! He couldn’t have done more, always checking up on us throughout our stay and chatting to all of the guests. All staff were extremely attentive and friendly, and nothing was ever too much of an ask. The apartments are very spacious with lots of storage space. I love that the hotel is laid out like a village with bungalows! The food was also amazing, great quality and so tasty- we didn’t get bored of it at all like at some all inclusive hotels! There are themed nights every night (such as Italian night, Mexican night, East Asian night and Peruvian night) and there’s something for everyone! There is a snack bar which serves toasties, burgers, chips etc all day too. The drinks are great, shout-out to the strawberry daiquiri! Also the milkshakes are to die for. There are 2 pool areas, one large pool with slides which seemed busier where lots of pool activities take place, then a quieter pool which has more of a relaxed feel, where mainly adults seem to stay around. We never struggled to get a sunbed which is a huge perk for me too. The hotel has a free shuttle bus operating every hour down to fig tree bay, dropping off down the ***** too. However, the hotel is not too far of a walk to the *****, and we often walked down anyway (taking 10-15 minutes) so don’t let the location put you off! Protaras is a wonderful resort with so much to offer. Finally there are lots of beautiful cats around the hotel, they are so friendly and sweet, and very much add to the village feel of the hotel! Please do take care of them We will 100% be returning to this hotel, thank you to the staff for making our stay so brilliant! Jess and Charlie
