Wonderful holiday at St. Elias, would definitely return! The staff are all amazing - from reception and bar staff to lifeguards, all so kind and seemed happy at work, wanting guests to have a great holiday. The entertainment here is the best we’ve experienced, not because it was the most spectacular but the team went above and beyond to ensure kids (& adults!) of all ages were included and had fun. A special mention to Ryan who was so personable with everyone and has a gift of being able to connect with younger kids and teenagers - fantastic singer & dancer, he was the star of our holiday and all the parents I spoke to said the same! Darts, archery, pool games, aqua aerobics, team games, quizzes & kids club - they did it all!! Food was delicious and just the right amount to prevent being wasteful and overwhelming. Keo, Estrella, Strongbow, cocktails, mocktails, milkshakes & iced coffee available at all bars. Plenty comfy sun loungers, shops and bars around 10-15min walk away (down the hill, turn right then left), and the grounds were very well kept and clean. Things that could be improved to make it excellent - Rooms were spacious but could benefit from voile panels rather than just curtains to allow privacy without darkness given apartments are at low level. The water in our fridge wasn’t topped up once during our stay despite is being told it would be, ok if we remembered to do it ourselves but annoying in the morning if we forgot. At the start of the week a fridge at the bar was stocked to help yourself but this was empty our last few days and the bar opened at 10am so there was nowhere to collect bottles till then. Tea, coffee & milk not topped up either which for “ultra all inclusive” you do expect. The shower is heated by solar panels and you have to press the button to heat up the water 15-20mins before use, this worked fine some nights and other nights we got lukewarm water…despite me setting a timer so I knew it had been on the same length of time as the previous night. After dinner finished, (9pm), there was nowhere to get snacks which I found strange again for what is advertised as “ultra all inclusive”. The spa were very hesitant to change pool towels for fresh ones the twice we asked! You will have a fabulous holiday if visiting St Elias - perfect place for a family with kids of any age!
