The hotel is beautifully landscaped with lots of plants and is very well maintained. The staff at reception and at breakfast are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel was not prepared for the number of guests at the end of the season, so there were not enough tables at breakfast and breakfast was only available hesitantly. The breakfast was very good by Italian standards, with something for everyone. Nice big outdoor pool, but only a shuttle to the beach without its own lounger or umbrella service. So we had to rent our loungers from another hotel. All in all, it was a very nice stay.

Lovely spacious room with balcony overlooking pool/ gardens. Immaculately clean. Staff cannot do enough for you and breakfast was great with plenty of fresh food. Shuttle bus to the local beach was great but it was only a short walk to both Pula and Nora beach. Had dinner once in hotel and it was excellent. We left a ring in the room safe and the staff facilitated its return to us within 4 days. Will definitely return

The resort was quiet as it was end of season, but it suited us well! The staff were very friendly…the room was basic but clean. Luckily we took travel kettle as nothing in room except a fridge. We didn’t eat dinner at hotel but breakfast was good.

Spent a delightful week here on a B&B basis. The Lantana isn't grand but ticked all our boxes in terms of being comfortable, attractive, immaculately clean and well maintained, quiet, spacious and uncrowded with great facilities and staff. There is plenty of parking space, and both Nora and downtown Pula (very quiet by day but with a relaxed and more lively vibe at night) are easily accessible on foot, the latter offering a selection of excellent restaurants. Breakfasts at the Lantana were delicious, and the one dinner we had there was good. The front desk staff deserve special mention - all were charming, knowledgeable and generous with their time in dealing with our various requests for local information. Would definitely recommend, and wish we could have stayed for longer.

Absolute gem. Everything was so fresh and clean. Lots of summers around the pool and always some free. Things were well spaced out and you did not feel surrounded by people. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We found the shuttle bus to the beach great, however, a return early/mid afternoon would be good. First return at 4.45 when we were there.

If it was closer to a beach, it would be ideal, but I’m still giving it 5 stars as it’s excellent in other ways. The pool area is never busy, even when the resort is full. Plenty of sun loungers, which are comfy and also umbrellas and shaded areas. Pool is good size and temperature. Breakfast buffet is plentiful. We didn’t eat at the hotel other than lunch, but dinner options looked nice with bbq nights etc. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We went basic for three room, but still had an outdoor area with table and chairs to enjoy and evening drink (too hot during the day). Shower was super small, so if you are a large person it would be a tough fit. Good fridge to chill your own drinks. A/c very effective too. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We spent a week at Lantana from 8 June. It is a lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds. We had a good sized double room with terrace overlooking the gardens and pool area. The room was well equipped with a very comfortable superking bed. The whole hotel and grounds are well maintained and kept immaculately clean. There was a good breakfast with plenty of choice and lunch and dinner menus served good food. Swimming pool is wonderful with plenty of sunbeds and shade. All the staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel runs a free shuttle to the beach and historical site at Nora and it is about a mile walk into the town of Pula. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday and will definitely return as we loved this hotel.

This place is like paradise. The apartment was amazing, very comfortable and nice and quiet. The staff at the resort are all very friendly and accommodating. The food in the restaurant is outstanding and you can get a 4 course meal for 50 euros which for the standard of the meal was very good value. The reception staff were very efficient and friendly and helped us book a hire car and a taxi for the return to the airport. Nora and Pula are within a short walking distance. The ruins in Nora are definately worth a visit and the hotel provide complimentary transport if required. There are a few lovely beaches nearby but we hired a car for 3 days so were able to adventure further afield. The pool area was beautiful and there were always plenty of sun beds available. Towels are provided for use by the pool if required. The gardens are immaculate and I would like to give a shout out to the gardeners who were always very polite and friendly when I saw them. There are a few supermarkets nearby within walking distance. One suggestion I would make is that it would be nice if a dishcloth, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets were provided. It's best to pack your own and take these items with you. We stayed for 1 week but felt it wasn't long enough so will be looking to return next year.
