The whole arrangement from initial reservation to transport pick up/drop off as well room arrangement and full board meals with variety provided daily have been well taken care by April (arranger) to resort staff. Will come back again next!

My family had an excellent time at the resort and couldn't have been happier that I chose the 3D2N snorkelling package for them. Few reasons why I say this: - I live in the UK but notwithstanding the time difference, the contact person at the resort (April) was massively helpful and responsive at all times. - My family only eats pure vegetarian diet and the resort made sure that the food was simple but tasty (a rare privilege in that part of Malaysia). - I needed to pay the balance resort fee but because of the time difference, my family reached the resort and it was still 4.30 AM in the UK so the staff allowed them to check in without paying!! I of course paid few hours later. - Beautiful location, great beach and overall a great experience. This is not a paid review and while I would generally not write one but I thought it will be useful for future travellers. Totally recommended.

Bistro/ Restaurant review only - After a long mornings snorkel it is great to have a casual lunch (and ice cold beer) at Pelangi Bistro given its great location in the centre of long beach. The dumplings and sweet potato chips are a great combination and the pizza looked good too. Prices are reasonable and staff helpful. Carry out is possible

Multi-storey buildings directly on the beach. Possibility of connecting rooms. The restaurant has an Asian menu only, fortunately at the bistro you can also order sandwiches and hamburgers (for a fee)! We took advantage of the snorkeling package which already included 3 trips, the sandbar and the turtles were beautiful. The only negative note, on the day of departure you set sail at 9.00 from the resort and you lose a morning at the sea.

The rooms are spacious and furnished in a very simple way. The initial cleaning is good. As in other hotels in Malaysia, daily cleaning of the rooms is not provided, but you have to request it specifically. They do not provide towels for the beach. The restaurant service, for Westerners, is a bit disappointing. They provide a plate with various dishes (typically Asian) and then there is a very small buffet. I stayed 3 nights in this property in the deluxe room C16: the room is simple but quite clean and new. I didn't like the fact that there is no room service and no one specified this to me when booking. For three days the room was not cleaned, outside, in the corridor, there was a broom available to clean and a bucket to throw away the garbage; to have the towels changed you had to ask at the reception, the same for toilet paper. There is not even a fridge in the room and they do not provide water in the room. The food is not a buffet since you can choose maybe 4 things, as soon as you enter the restaurant they bring you a ready-made dish, with cold and poor quality things; also while you eat the staff goes around with the garbage trolley to clean the tables! I have often eaten in their bistro and paying extra of course! There are no beach towels available and not even umbrellas! For trips, the boat looks like a cattle truck and it is difficult to snorkel with so many people. At 9am they made us check out, yet the planes leave after 5pm.

Resort located on the liveliest beach on the island, fairly new and clean rooms, super friendly staff and decent food. The service they offer is excellent, including all-inclusive meals and free snorkelling twice a day, with the guys who manage the boat trips being super nice...I highly recommend this resort!

Everything perfect, Deluxe room (new part) clean and spacious. Gorgeous beach. The package includes excursions (unfortunately boats with numerous guests, but very beautiful places) and meals. The food is typically Asian, but good. Very very kind staff! Highly recommended
