This is a lovely resort, the rooms are clean and have everything you need. The all inclusive package has a great food, even for me, who doesn’t eat seafood I always found more than enough nice food to enjoy. The staff were friendly and very keen to help. Only negatives were: It is very structured, which as it appears to be mainly a family resort is probably necessary but we found it a little constricting. The snorkelling was aimed at people with very little swimming ability so was limited and crowded.

Good Hotel on the beach. But food option is not much. But it was ramadan time, we had to ask for few times for food options. The other facilities like Snorkeling trips are good. We took turtle feeding trip too.

Resorts are supposed to be fun, right? Redang Beach Resort was more like attending boot camp rather than a relaxing vacation. So much needless frustration caused by an uncaring staff and ridiculous rules that made the experience unsatisfying. Starting with the bus ride from the airport it was just one exercise after another. We had to load our own suitcases on to the bus while the bus crew was smoking and watching us. When we arrived at the Jetty, the bus parked away from their ticket counter, so again, we had to drag our suitcases on muddy and unpaved gravel ground. Once on the island we had to walk through another resort and then on sandy beach to get to the check-in counter on a very hot day. The resort we walked through looked much nicer and had transportation for its guests instead of making us walk. When we checked in, we had to listen to a long list of rules that was spoken so fast it was hard to understand. Of course, our room wasn’t ready yet. The front desk ladies get a D-; they were rude, unfriendly and answered “No” to every request we had. The resort had a vibe of 1970's in the year 2022. The buildings, rooms and facilities need to be renovated and maintained; much of the property is rundown. I regret that I trusted what I saw on their website.. it was misleading. It's my first experience to stay at a beach resort where there is no door between the room and the toilet. Extremely thin walls, I could hear conversation from the next door. It wasn't an ideal place for me to stay for my holiday at all. Useless TV, there were no available stations and no streaming. No wifi that I could find. No coffee. What's the point of having hot water pot if there are no water nor tea or coffee? Safe deposit box wasn't working. How come nobody bothered to check anything before new guests arrive? This resort just doesn’t care about their guests. If you don’t want the cold buffet food, you can go to a separate restaurant but the only thing they serve is fried rice that is overpriced. Nothing else on the menu is available. We had to check out at 9:30 even though our ferry ride back was 11. This is a resort, how about make the guests feel comfortable and valued? Instead, we were treated like cattle. We asked for a bus ride back from the jetty to the airport, but the front desk ladies' answer was "No" right away. She said because we didn't ask earlier. Instead of "No", "Let's see what we can do for you." with a smile would do. we had to obey front desk ladies (sergeants), followed a placard and stand at the jetty until we were called one by one to proceed onto a boat. All in all, this was the worst resort experience I have ever had and have no desire to go back for more boot camp.

This is the worst office staff in the history of resorts. Rude, demanding money without having a way for foreign guests to make a payment beyond going to the bank and depositing money in their account. Slow to respond yet if you don't pay in a flash they cancel your service. Arranging transport through them is a nightmare and incredibly frustrating. We booked a dive trip and forwarded our schedule and no one even bothered to tell us we might not be able to make all our dives because they couldn't accommodate our schedule. Only after asking myself did they suggest making a change. The resort is OK, a little dated but fine. Food is local and good. We were the only westerners and I can see why; this place has no concern for the customer. Pick another resort.

The beach is very beautiful, unfortunately poorly maintained in fact the continuous passage of tractors for the transport of tourists, in addition to smoking you with the smell of diesel destroy the beach. Furthermore the remaining coral reef present will surely be destroyed by hordes of Chinese who trample it mercilessly. The room is old, dirty. The bathroom, whose gurgling of the exhaust creates terrible smells is dirty or at least it seems so. The food can certainly not be liked since it is repetitive (assuming that the Chinese horde did not eat it all) and the menu consists almost exclusively of chicken. The food is always cold. Breakfast is not suitable for a European clientele at most Italian; in fact there is only milk (cow's?), coffee and some kind of cereal, the rest is noodles, rice and fried chicken. If it is possible to turn a blind eye to all this, the worst thing is the fact that just behind the rooms they burn waste. In addition to being a terrible habit and also dangerous for both locals and customers, the fumes you breathe pervade the entire hotel and the beach, creating a sort of toxic and smelly fog. Very welcoming and helpful staff

The premise is that our standards, especially hygiene, are really different from those found in Malaysia. Unfortunately, of all the hotels we visited, which were carefully chosen, the cleanliness was poor and I fear that in Redang the average resort level is this (leaving aside super expensive structures). Overall, a nice resort with an outside. Cockroach in the room during the second night, the next day they put mobile mosquito nets in my room. Happy with their solution, but I fear they know there is a cockroach problem and only equip the rooms on request. Buffet food - strictly Chinese - passable, but unrealistic times (such as dinner ending at 8.30 pm and breakfast at 9 am). Everything is regulated according to the needs of the Chinese clientele, predominant in the resort. Trips with hordes of Chinese, I recommend booking independently. The ones they include last half the expected time, the rest is used to put all the hordes on the boats: Not recommended for those who can't adapt. I give it three stars considering their average benchmark, but by our standards it would be a poor two stars.

Experience to forget. Arrived from Perenthian and booked the full package for 3 nights. Deluxe room and towels that smelled of mold, a cockroach in the room, poor and shoddy food. Excursions on an immigrant-style boat with a hundred Chinese tourists who can't swim and trample the coral. At night a mouse jumped onto the balcony of the room. We ran away the next day and they also denied us a refund despite showing us the photos. Be wary of these scammers

Oh my, what a splendid place!! A real postcard for what concerns the island, what concerns the hotel.. ouch ouch ouch fortunately it was just for sleeping.. room + only dated, very basic bathroom (nothing to put things down) tap mounted on The reverse is the first time I've seen this! Cobwebs with pieces of wet paper, finally no cleaning... big cockroaches, door that closes very poorly and as far as meals are concerned it is very average. That's it, but that in no way spoiled our trip to this magnificent island!
