Hotels in Xinghua Prefecture Historical and Cultural Block/City Hall, Putian

A little far from downtown and the attractions but you’ll be driving or in a cab anyway, there is no walking in Putian. The newest and definitely most pleasant of the five star hotels in the city. The park next door is charming, and the hot spring is very pleasant, although there is some controversy as to whether the hot spring has the correct water overflow/replacement to make sure the water is being renewed isn’t dead water. Note that despite nominally being a non smoking hotel, the floor we were on reeked with smoke with one room propping the door open while smoking and cleaning staff passed by without batting an eyelid. Rooms are big, well equipped and there are the expected Shangrila touches. Would definitely choose this hotel to stay in over any other in the city.

I have been stay at Hilton Putian for few times, the front desk staffs are very friendly, the duty manager Elaine is very helpful, the room is clean and comfortable, the breakfast is nice, its a very good hotel for foreign guest to stay, and will choose it again next visiting.

I have always stayed in other hotels when I went to Putian for business trips. This time, a customer recommended this hotel which is relatively close to his company. I was really surprised to stay in it. First of all, the room was very large and very comfortable. The lady at the front desk was always smiling when I checked in. The various services are also kept up to date. When I went out, I met the cleaning lady, who also greeted me warmly and gave me a like. As a former five-star hotel employee, I really feel that this hotel is very good in all aspects and very cost-effective.

I came here on a business trip. It is very close to the government service center and next to the famous e-commerce town. The room is very clean and large, quite new, and has no odor. Because I arrived late, the handsome guy at the front desk helped me upgrade the room type. Every staff member I met was very enthusiastic. I am grateful. It is very convenient to eat and drink downstairs in the hotel.

This hotel really surprised me! The room is spacious and bright, the bed is super comfortable, the pillow is a nice memory foam pillow, and the facilities are also complete. The staff is warm and polite, and they can always meet our needs in a short time. The accommodation experience here is excellent, highly recommended! This time I came to see the concert, it is really convenient just opposite! And the hotel parking is free, which is very suitable for self-driving travel! The hotel room is also equipped with hand-brewed coffee, which is a surprise. Coffee lovers are ecstatic and brewed a cup immediately. The taste is great! When checking out, they also gave me a souvenir, which is really thoughtful!

We only stayed in Putian for one day. After visiting Nanshan Guanghua Temple, we wanted to stay in a hotel near the Xinghuafu Historical District to facilitate the evening tour. The location of Putian Dibao Hotel is quite suitable. We placed an order on Ctrip, and the hotel front desk quickly checked in and upgraded the room, which was very professional. Although the room facilities are not new, they are well maintained. The bedding and toiletries are quite good, the quilt is of suitable thickness, and it is quite quiet to sleep at night. The breakfast is fresh and rich, and the restaurant service is very qualified, soft-spoken, polite and thoughtful. In less than a day, I really feel that Dibao Hotel is a very cost-effective hotel and is worth recommending.

The hotel looks very grand and upscale. The garage is hard to describe, with a strong smell of seafood and septic tank. Although the room is old, it is acceptable, but the hygiene is too unprofessional. The dust accumulation is obviously not cleaned properly, which is really not the right thing for a five-star hotel management office. The bathroom makes a loud sound when someone next door uses a shower and turns on the faucet.

I don’t really write reviews unless exceptionally good or bad but this is really a negative experience … Firstly, not recommended if coming to stay in cold season (Autumn/ Winter/ Spring). The aircon/ heater system is centralised so you can’t adjust the temperature. Secondly, according to the receptionist, they only have ONE tower fan so not really available. Lastly, the attitude of receptionist and housekeeping is extremely unfriendly compared to before (I stayed here 3 times) and I put a good review in 2023. This time, the solution they provided to a female guest is to open the window and curtain at night for cold air… which I personally think is inconsiderate for a female guest. I gave my feedback to the receptionist when I checked-out so hopefully they can add more tower fans to their inventory.

Yaduo hotel is the best hotel I have stayed in putian . The location of this hotel is excellent which is close to the city center.. Especially Mr Fan, a staff of front desk. he has very nice smile and very warm service. I'm looking forward to my next stay at this hotel.
