Qingdao Huangdao District Hotels

From the moment we checked in, the service was outstanding, far surpassing many five-star hotels. They gave a welcome gift to our child and even upgraded us to a family suite for free. The front desk staff, especially a friendly lady named Lan Yangyang, was incredibly responsive to all our questions and continuously checked in to see if we needed anything else. Although the hotel rooms didn't have mini-fridges, they specially arranged one for us. The next day, when we needed help preparing some seafood, the manager was more than happy to assist, and the chef in the kitchen was also delightful and witty. Seeing so many long-term employees, I could tell this company truly values its staff, and the whole hotel had a wonderfully personal touch. Even though the facilities are a bit dated, this will definitely be our go-to choice next time we visit Qingdao. It's the first time I've ever left a hotel and still received a little gift from the front desk staff! Thumbs up! 👍

Booked Building A, if you don't care much about the decoration, it is the best value for money, a four-star hotel with a long-standing brand, free parking, luxurious lobby, attentive service, and a price of 300+ during the Golden Week. Building A is old decoration, quite old-fashioned. In the upstairs of Building A, in the elevator and corridor, I met families who brought their kids to Qingdao to play. It seems that everyone recognizes this place. Building B should be newly decorated. After all, it is a four-star hotel, which can give you a natural sense of solidity.

We specifically requested a smoke-free room, but the whole room smelled like old cigarettes. The pool was also really dirty and full of sand, and water was murky and green-ish. We only stayed for one night but that was enough for us.

It's great to travel off-peak. The hotel staff is super enthusiastic. The room is very spacious. I upgraded to a sea view room for free. Although the weather was average, I was still very happy. The breakfast was also good. The room rate was very cost-effective. Special thanks to the sales manager Huang Jiaxuan for giving travel suggestions and check-in help. I will definitely come again next time and will recommend it to friends. It is very convenient to take a taxi to travel nearby.

After May Day, I returned to my alma mater to attend the college's New Year's Eve party. I can't stop talking to my juniors. My alma mater has changed a lot. There is even Singapore, haha! The ginger soup, milk, and biscuits prepared in the room are all great! The braised noodles and salted duck eggs for breakfast are still Shandong specialties. I like them very much. Except for the loud noise of the air conditioner, everything else in the room is perfect! Especially the pillows! Very comfortable

I have to give a good review. It is very convenient to park when you drive to Qingdao, and there is a charging station nearby. You can take a taxi to the subway to travel in the city. The room environment is also very good. They even prepared laundry detergent, which is great. The breakfast is also very rich. It is really worth it for such a price and environment.

Due to Ramadan Month, ı have requested breakfast to bring my room before night and hotel staff arrange very good breakfast for me. This should continue for every year in Ramadan month for Muslim guests. Thanks to hotel staff again.

Facilities: The hotel is new, and the equipment is all new. You have to swipe your elevator card to get to your floor, but the room smelled like renovations, and the windows were left open the entire time we stayed, so the smell persisted. The restaurant was adequate, but the air conditioning wasn't very effective, and I kept sweating while eating. The laundry room on the first floor was very helpful. Cleanliness: The room was clean, and housekeeping was always available. Breakfast cleanliness could be improved, for example, there were foreign objects in the food. Environment: There's a commercial area downstairs, making it convenient for dining. The subway is a 10-minute walk away. Service: Room service was good. Restaurant service was acceptable, and any issues were addressed promptly. The front desk staff were friendly during check-in, but were unprofessional and formal during check-out. I always stay at Hilton hotels and trust their professionalism, but this time, my experience was less than positive.

Qingdao Jinshatan Blue Ocean Royal Hotel enjoys a prime location, within walking distance of the Golden Beach. Rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows with ocean views. The hotel offers attentive service, including thoughtful touches like fruit. The breakfast buffet boasts a rich variety and fresh seafood. The hotel also boasts comprehensive facilities, including a swimming pool and gym. The back door leads directly to the beach, making it convenient for shellfishing. The overall value is excellent, making it a great choice for families and couples. The front desk service is excellent.

Overall it’s a nice hotel. The room was clean, beds were cozy and it was not noisy. It is literally 100 meters far from the subway station so it’s easy to move around. A bit far from the beach, the closest beach (Golden beach) were one can swim is 30 min by car. Breakfast is Chinese style and affordable, 15 yuan per person.
