Villa Bascarino is a charming place to stay in Ragusa. It’s an old private residence that has been beautifully converted to comfortable accommodation with a tranquil garden and pool area where we were able to have lunch after our arrival. Our room was spacious with a terrace, the breakfast offered a wide choice and the staff were very friendly, helpful and kind. Parking is freely available in front of the Villa or free nearby in the street. We left something valuable behind but a staff member (Aldo) arranged for it to be couriered to our next accommodation which was so very kind of him. I would highly recommend staying at Villa Boscarino

The hotel is exquisite. The villa renovation was done with an eye to preserving the character of the Villa, while at the same time allowing for modern conveniences. Each space in the hotel felt comfortable and inviting. We had the Jr. Suite and it was quiet, and full of light during the day , with a beautiful view of the horizon. The Villa Boscarino, sitting on a hill in a residential neighbourhood, is a short drive from the heart of Ragusa superiore. One would ideally arrive via car. Parking is uncomplicated. The hotel staff were wonderful and organised dinner for us on short notice for two evenings. Breakfast lovely - fresh fruit and pastries, really special. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful hotel. They did a great job renovating this villa - modern conveniences in a lovely vintage setting. When we checked in, we were given a map of the area and helpful information. The breakfast room is located in what used to be the chapel. Private parking is available directly in front of the villa. Ibla is a short drive away.

Small hotel with all you would need to stay a few days in Ragusa city, Breakfast is standart ; no hot food serve, but fantastic coffe served by Mr, Nikki --- tell him Leo sent you. Pool area is very welcoming specially after strolling the city, they serve drinks.

This is a stylish boutique hotel. Rooms are well appointed and larger than a modern hotel and feel special. Plenty of parking in front of the hotel. Breakfast is OK, although not really anything special. But it is a long way from Ragusa Ibla (old town), and you need a car - 4k by road to the nearest car park. But don't let that put you off as you will probably be in a car anyway. The staff were all really great and gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. The only thing that we weren't too keen on (in May) was that the sun disappeared from the pool area a little early, and would be the only reason we might look elsewhere if we return, but we did enjoy our stay.

Very comfortable, old-world feel in the heart of Ragusa, it was a highlight of our Sicilian adventure. Our room was very comfortable, and we had the balcony. It was the perfect place to sip some wine as the sun set. The garden had abundant flowers and a private estate feel. What a pleasure to wake up in such a wonderful setting. We would definitely recommend staying here.

One night stay to visit Ragusa Ibla. A stylish, comfortable, convenient hotel a short drive from Ibla. Breakfast was the best we had in Sicily, which is saying something as all but one breakfast was excellent. Staff charming and helpful. Made parking in Ibla easy and finessed our onward journey. Would stay again and recommend.
