Oggi, continuando nel nostro personale progetto di girovagare per i paesi e i borghi siciliani, col mio caro e fraterno amico Giuseppe Giuffrida, siamo andati a Randazzo. Abbiamo cercato e trovato del pane buono (come non si trova quasi più a Catania), salumi, formaggi, e funghi cardoncelli, meglio conosciuti come funghi di ferla. Poi, e qui viene il bello, siamo andati al ristorante Scrivano dell’omonimo hotel, accanto alla piazza principale di Randazzo. Che meraviglia e che gusto per il palato! Descrivo brevemente il nostro pranzo, che vi invito a replicare: Zuppa di funghi (che più buona non c'è); antipasti vari, compresa la leggendaria Caponata di Scrivano; pappardelle al ragù di maiale nero e funghi cardoncelli. Una vera delizia, innaffiata dal vino delle cantine dell'Etna. Non abbiamo preso il secondo perché eravamo satolli e soddisfatti. Conoscete la dolce e confortate sensazione di alzarsi dalla tavola con un pensiero felice in testa e una sensazione di pace col mondo? Ebbene sì, noi, all’uscita, ci sentivamo proprio così! Onore a Scrivano e al suo entourage.

Ieri 17 maggio 2025 durante una piacevole visita a Randazzo, ho avuto il piacere di pranzare presso l’Hotel-Ristorante Scrivano, insieme al mio amico di sempre, Salvino Cannella. L’esperienza è stata assolutamente positiva, sia per la qualità della cucina che per l’ottimo servizio ricevuto. Il pranzo è iniziato con una deliziosa zuppa di funghi, seguita da un variegato antipasto della casa e da un primo piatto eccellente: pappardelle al ragù di maialino dei Nebrodi con funghi. Tutto accompagnato da un vino rosso locale, che ha esaltato ulteriormente i sapori autentici della cucina. Il servizio è stato impeccabile: siamo stati accolti e serviti da una ragazza estremamente professionale, attenta e cortese. Giudizio complessivo: (5/5) Costo del pranzo: assolutamente nella norma, se non leggermente inferiore alle aspettative. Consiglio vivamente a chiunque voglia vivere un’esperienza gastronomica autentica di pranzare presso Hotel Scrivano. Accogliente, caldo, comodo, si mangia benissimo e soprattutto una gestione familiare meravigliosa e pronta ad ogni esigenza particolare di ogni cliente. La signora Nunzia è stata una vera padrona di casa attenta e disponibilissima. Consigliatissimo!

Non ho soggiornato in struttura ma esternamente ha una struttura importante, unica pecca è l’area di servizio proprio in ingresso. Il ristorante merita una sosta anche perché le pappardelle ai funghi porcini sono ottime e abbondanti. Il prezzo è corretto come molto cortese e la proprietà della struttura, io qua ci ritorno!

La posizione dell'hotel è comoda. Il personale disponibile e cortese. Pulizia accettabile. Al ristorante abbiamo mangiato abbastanza bene. Forse avrebbe bisogno di essere un po' rimodernato. Nel complesso l'esperienza è stata abbastanza positiva

Siamo stati per cena e tutto quello che abbiamo ordinato era delizioso, la cameriera molto gentile. Il vino era del posto un po' caldo però la signora molto gentile ci ha portato del ghiaccio per poterlo raffreddare comunque complimenti di sicuro torneremo Grazie
