Minos Hotel

Great location and very good breakfast with a wide range of choices.

I came for a holiday alone and I was a little bit worried about how it will turn out since it was the first time experiencing it, but all my expectations were exceeded. First of all, I was welcome by Rene that is such an amazing lovely young lady and genuinely kind. They immediately offered me a lemonade when I arrived since it has been a long trip. She told me that now it is time to relax because I am in holiday and I was absolutely amazed by her attention to details and her willingness to answer every question I had. There is something magic about Greece and I always feel welcome but here it was even better than usually. I came for Easter holiday so I was invited to an amazing party they held with the occasion. For the modest price of 14 euro I was able to participate and enjoy amazing live greek music, traditional Easter food, roasted lamb and many other things. I was impressed of the fact that Rene was always around and made me feel so good even if I was alone, but being extremely careful not to take any of my personal space. She has an amazing emotional intelligence. She introduced me to other people, she was always taking care of everyone to make sure we all feel great. The hotel also offered a little Easter gift in my room, red eggs and traditional cake, which again made me feel so welcome and really experience Orthodox Easter and greeks hospitality. The hotel was very clean, room was huge, everything was well taken care of. Breakfast was unbelievably varied, from english breakfast to Mediterranean choices..they even had onion rings which I never saw before for breakfast. Absolutely delicious and amazing. Overall, this was a truly amazing experience, the staff, the hotel, the food, the hospitality and care I felt were the perfect ingredients for a perfect holiday. Greece is a blessed country and I can feel it every time I come

We have just returned from an amazing stay at the Minos Hotel. A big thank you to the management team and a special mention to Irine and Jonathan who both provided us with incredible care and attention, they are a credit to the hotel. The hotel rooms are very clean and spacious. There are plenty of areas with sunbeds and parasols. Good selection of dishes for breakfast and dinner. Close to the beach and a 15 minute stroll to the lovely old town. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Christopher and Jacqueline

Very fantastic hotel. We are here for sixth time. The first rime was in 2018. The second time was in 2019. And everything was perfect! The service, the room cleaning and the were Just perfect. Like a home ...................................

It's very fine here. I should go home in Denmark, where I also have a very nice home by the sea. And it resembles this hotel. I also met a fine Guest Relations girl, Irini. She was very helpful..... I enjoyed my four excursions by bus and had a really nice time.

We had a great holiday at Minos hotel. Very clean and freshly updated rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast with a huge range. I had a spa treatment with Georgia, excellent service, a beautiful spa. Georgia was lovely and the treatment was very good. Would highly recommend making the most out of the spa. The area is excellent- Rethymno in waking distance and the beach a very short walk away. We had a wonderful holiday.
