Fantastic experience from start to finish. Made us all very welcome. Breakfast was second to none and definitely 5 star..bedrooms well equipped and spotless excellent shower and comfy beds. Also we were allocated 2 very quite rooms with side sea view. Provided travel cot and all bedding for infant. Plus tea and coffee in a daily basis to use in our rooms

Lovely experience from the hotel. clean bedrooms- with towels and daily cleaning to high standards Perfect beachside location, the private beach is delivery to a bed for drinks and snacks. The lady doing this was lovely!!! The concierge could not do enough she deserves a pay rise, whilst bar staff were knowledgeable and friendly. We will be back.

Oh goodness me awful awful awful I usually see good in everywhere I go just couldn’t with this hotel I have to say worst place I have stayed in for the last 20 years and i never go below 4 star plus , food warm and if you like rabbit or spaghetti bolognaise then you will be happy but only if u like your food Luke warm and laced with salt . A lacarte 20% off if your bed and breakfast same if u are half board . Pool side a death trap , less than a 100 sun beds by the pool so it is the beach or nothing . Paid extra for side sea view our room was next to the cleaners cupboard so not the best to say the least . Take my advice please don’t go here

The best hotel! Everyone Were so Nice because not everyone Are like this???! When we got there super Late at night 18.7.25, we Were welcomed by a woman named Katerina and she told us everything we needed to know about the hotel. After that one of her colleague/the staff members took our luggage and showed us the way to our room, and I wish I knew his name but unfortunately I don’t know it and really hope someone does. Our room was super clean, and got to this pool area from our room and it was super calm as it wasn’t the main pool. The breakfast was amazing and I liked that everyday there was something new and different to eat and not just the same everyday. The staff always answered to any questions you had and knew alot even about things outside the hotel. Hotel had beach towels which was amazing and you didn’t have to buy your own ones. There was a beach service and u could order foods etc. there and that worked amazing and had no troubles. I loved the fact that every day there was this board in the lobby that had information about the days weather, What’s happening in the hotel at night and everything else. I have so much to say and everything is positive so I honestly don’t know What to say but overall I recommend this hotel to everyone and I will DEFINITELY come back to this hotel ASAP!!! Also we had a cute cat visitor Who came every now and then and it was so cute!! Really hope someone knows the name of the guy Who took us to our room and so much appreciation towards him since he was one of the nicest staff members there and When we left, he also showed us the shower room, which was also made really good, because When you left the hotel at noon, you Were able to put your luggage to a luggage room and go shower if needed before you leave.

As most comments Lovely hotel, location great, pool small but needed when hot. The write up states an A la Cart restaurant by jet2 but only self serve breakfast and evening meal. Food ok but not great. Luck warm after 8am and nothing special. The day time menu is again ok but not great, but walk a few yards and some lovely Taverns with great food and drinks (and not over priced as they are at Aegean Pearl) A petty issue but I ordered a beer and when arrived well below the 0.5cl so I asked for it to be topped, but then was shouted at by a female waitress not sure what she said but very rude, with bobbed hair, so embarrassing and I was very polite with my request. Rooms dated but great Very dated rooms but comfy beds and great a/c. Also not shown in photos is the Pearl beach that shares the facilities (pools and lunch time restaurant) which should be outlined in the hotel description Claims a 5 star hotel but would give3 star

We had the most amazing time at the Aegean Pearl. Beautiful hotel in a great location right next to the beach. Staff were amazing and super friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious. Plenty of wardrobe space. A good 40 minute walk into the centre of Rethymnon. But plenty of bars and restaurants near by. The only fault we had was the mosquitos. There's is loads of them and I ended up with 232 bites. I do recommend getting a repellent and plug in for the room

We’ve just came back from another trip to Rethmyno after visiting in September last year and also back to the Aegean Pearl! We don’t normally visit the same place twice but knew the hotel was in a good location (a 30 minute wander along the beach road to the centre with plenty of bars, tavernas and shops along the way) The room was a decent size although the open plan bathroom and toilet without a lock does take some getting used to. We had a small balcony with a side sea view which was nice, the beds are comfy and lots of plugs sockets, storage, mirrors and decent lighting. We enjoyed a couple of relaxed days by the pool and the beach but the pool is very cold so be mindful of this! The food was different this time round and despite being quite fussy and only eating fish/vegetarian we found plenty to eat when we ate dinner at the hotel and breakfast is always very good - we loved the bougatsa. Also visited Resmo which is based in the Seabreeze apartments opposite and the food there was perfect. The entertainment was good (definitely recommend the night walking tour!) and Tassos and Manousos keep the energy going after dark. We did feel other guests were more sociable this time which also helped - without it being rowdy it’s a very relaxed place. Of course we need to mention Anna and Popi from the restaurant - we love them!

This was our second visit to this lovely hotel. The hotel is situated across the road from the beach, with an approximate 30-40 minute flat walk to the old town of Rethymnon. Alternatively you can use the local bus or taxis available from outside the hotel. The hotel is kept clean and tidy. The rooms and beds are comfortable and we slept really well. We found the food at both breakfast and dinner excellent, even better than last year. A good variety of dishes that were well prepared and tasty. You won’t go hungry here. The staff are friendly, welcoming and a credit to the hotel. Management are visible and check that guests are enjoying their stay. Medium size pool with comfy padded sunbeds. During our stay we didn’t see any towels reserving beds with an efficient and friendly lifeguard looking after the pool. The sunbeds on the beach are free, however we found that more sunbeds had been added since last year and now too close together. We decided to walk 2 minutes down the beach and pay 7 Euros for more space and comfort. There’s lots of exploring to do in the old town. However if you wish to stay local to the hotel there are a few nice bars, taverns and shops. The hotel also provides nightly entertainment. All in all a great holiday, resort and hotel.
