"Very comfortable, I’m very gratefull by the kindness of the personal ! The location was near to the reikyjavik center. Everything was super celan and warm."

"The hotel is in a good location! The hotel linens in Northern Europe are as good as always! The front desk service is polite and thoughtful! What I didn't expect was that there were cookies in the room! Drinking a cup of coffee, it was like recharging, and immediately immersing myself in the beautiful scenery of Iceland! It's a pity that the sky is not beautiful! I didn't see the northern lights! But the northern lights are rare! I have seen them in Saariselka, Lapland, Finland in March 2018!"
"perfect location and friendly reception. All bath sets are L'Occitane´s, which i prefer the most. A small coffee machine in the room. A little improvment could be the light in the room, which is a little bit dark for me, but someone will like it."
"Everything about the hotel is good except the service. We have communicated with the driver to add a bed, but he still can't add it. The housekeeper is extremely inefficient and can't add a bed in 2 hours. If there are 2 people, there is no problem staying in this hotel. If you need an extra bed, be prepared. It is very difficult to add a bed and the bed is very uncomfortable."
"Our flight arrived late. The hotel staff waited for us until 3am and made the check in process super smooth. The breakfast is great. The hotel is located right next to Bus Stop #9 in the heart of downtown Reykjavik. Next time we will stay here again for longer."
"This is not at BSI Bus Stop. This is at Bus Stop Reykjavík. It’s not far from Bus Stop 6 and I could use Kapper so that saved me a couple of taxis. Just don’t be afraid to walk out to the highway and cross at the stoplight. They have a lot of tours and the private room is nice. Just avoid wearing socks in bed or else it will lead to Icelandic levels of static generation. It hurts."
"A very good experience, the hotel has a sense of design, is exquisite and clean. The front desk staff are very welcoming and friendly. In particular, the Chinese lady at the front desk was patient and polite, spoke Mandarin very well, and helped us solve many problems. I would like to express my special thanks to her. The bedding is also very comfortable. It can be said to be the best among the many hotels we have stayed in during our trip to Northern Europe. Highly recommend this hotel"

TTeacher HarryLayout of room was kind of strange. The bed is on a weird platform that might be difficult to navigate for less agile people, or those who are sleepy or otherwise impaired. Bathroom was overly small.
It has a kitchenette, but no microwave. The location is in the heart of the most touristy part of Reykjavik.
This is the third hotel I’ve stayed in while traveling to Reykjavik. The others, both lower priced, were not afflicted with the smell of sulphur (rotten eggs) in the water. It is possible to filter this out, and a person paying the price this hotel is asking should be able to expect better quality water.
If you want to be in the thick of the tourist action and don’t mind smelly water, this place is OK. Otherwise…

LLivoryPerfect in all counts. Service was top, free private parking saved hassle of figuring out public parking space, rooms super clean and housekeeping everyday (we didnt really need it but they kept our room tidy everyday), very good furniture arrangement to open two big luggages with room to still walk. Reykjavik city centre is not too big so walking from hotel is not hard at all. Hotel is beautiful with so much art to admire, lobby decor was amazing and welcoming. I am just glad that on my return to Reykjavik from east of Iceland, we are staying there again before we fly off to our next destination. If you’re staying in Reykjavik and don’t mind a 5min walk to city centre, this is the place to book. One small gripe: bring eyemasks for summer as the curtains leak a tiny bit of light no matter how you arrange it (which is a common issue we faced in most Icelandic hotels).

DdenimiseThe hotel was very centrally located and modern. The room was spacious and comfortable - a little bit old but not a big issue. They offered to store our luggages upon check out which was a good service. They didn’t provide any parking space but there were public parking spots nearby.

MMiffy woAlthough the room is small, it is very convenient to settle in. The password is used to enter and exit. The piggy supermarket is 150 meters away, and shopping is also very close. The breakfast is also good. It is not too far to go to the main street and the Pearl Tower.

SStefan-AusI can absolutely sympathise with people who struggle to get in and check in to this hotel.
When you book through a 3rd party app, you do not receive your room number or entry code. The check-in process is then an adventure of trying to shout into a tablet near the front door, for a call that lasts maximum 2 minutes before it disconnects and you have to try again.
The layout is… odd… to say the least, but if you follow the signs you can eventually end up at your room (if you find some of the doors that work, not all do).
The maintenance person who broke into our room while we were out forgot to lock the door, so we were at risk of all of our things being stolen, which wasn’t ideal.
The room itself was nice, location is good and as long as you don’t need anything, you are getting what you pay for.

WWongAaronI recently had the pleasure of staying at Guesthouse Aurora, where the charm of the establishment was only matched by the warmth of its hosts. Nestled in a convenient location next to the Church, the guesthouse presented itself as an inviting home away from home, perfect for travelers looking for an authentic and personal touch to their accommodation.
Before arrival, we were worried that we cannot checkin because we took a night flight. However, when i called the staff, he answered that even our arrival time is out of customer service, he could leave the key and PIN code for us to self-checkin, he also went beyond to ensure a smooth check-in process. Their attention to detail and eagerness to assist with any inquiries set the tone for a delightful stay.
The guesthouse itself boasted a quaint and cozy atmosphere, with communal areas that were well-kept and adorned with tasteful decorations, offering a homely comfort that was immediately noticeable. The included breakfast was a highlight of the stay, featuring a generous spread of both local and continental options, freshly prepared and sure to satisfy a variety of tastes. The morning meal provided a wonderful opportunity to mingle with other guests and exchange travel tales, all while enjoying the delightful array of food.
However, it's worth noting that the room space was somewhat compact. While the room was impeccably clean and well-equipped with the necessary amenities, the limited space could pose a slight inconvenience, especially for those with a significant amount of luggage or a
