As you walk into reception it looks lovely. But as soon as you step out of the elevator it was like a horror movie. The carpet and corridors to the rooms is disgusting and appalling, not even a 2 star hotel, decor is something like from the 70s. It was a disappointment straight away, I wanted to leave. The bedroom with sofa bed, not even a child could sleep on that sofa bed, there was no mattress it would touch the rock bottom. There is a kettle in the room but no mugs, coffee or tea!? It makes no sense to me. Walls are paper thin, could hear all conversations next door. Can’t wait to be back home and get a good night sleep. Have to pay for air con before May! All inclusive is not worth it, drinks are cheap and not much option. Food is very repetitive, bread for breakfast so hard. Outside is ok, not many nice sunbeds so people rush to reserve. There are plenty other ones plastic sunbeds in the garden though. Hotel was very full and not enough sitting inside in the evening, cold to be outside. Entertainment area very old. The only good thing is staff is very friendly and is a kids friendly hotel. No more than a three star hotel. A few shops and restaurants and few minutes away. Chapel and harbour was lovely. Unfortunately I’m not coming back and it does not match the pictures on the website

Excellent hotel with very good location, bus stop outside the hotel which is very convenient. The hotel itself was brilliant, very good facilities and private beach on your door step, the beach was nice and quiet very clean with sand which the kids loved. The food was very good, and being a vegetarian the staff made sure that we were looked after. The staff in the restaurant and kitchen were amazing and ensured that we were well fed everyday, especially Vasilia, Emmanoyel and M.Kashif who took great care of us. The waitresses Anthoula and Marina were fantastic. The hotel was clean, our room was kept nice and clean by the cleaner Renata who was excellent. In the pool bar Maria always had a very big smile and was always very helpful and Panos in the inside bar always welcomed us and made our drinks to our liking. The reception staff Nina, Maria and Anastasia were extremely helpful, friendly and supportive and were very knowledgeable about the area and helped us identify places to visit. A special thank you goes out to these wonderful people who are an asset to the hotel. The staff made our stay fabulous. Rekha and family 💕

We stayed at this delightful hotel during the Easter school holidays for 7 nights, arriving on April 10th—the first day of the season. Traveling from Edinburgh with our two young children (2.5 and 6 years old), we were looking for a family-friendly destination, and this hotel exceeded all our expectations. 🏨 Hotel Overview The hotel boasts beautifully landscaped gardens with tranquil resting spots near the pool bar, offering a serene atmosphere for relaxation. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the go-karting area and the dedicated play zone, which kept them entertained throughout our stay. Each evening at 8:30 PM, the mini kids' disco was a highlight, bringing joy to both kids and parents alike. 🍽️ Dining Experience The restaurant, led by the hardworking Manager Vasilia, provided an exceptional dining experience. Vasilia's professionalism and genuine care for guests were evident as she frequently checked in to ensure everything was satisfactory. The staff, including Alexandra, Marina, and Hussain, were always welcoming, polite, and attentive. Alexandra, in particular, made our son feel special with her warm interactions. 🍹 Bar & Entertainment Panos, the Bar Manager, is not only a talented Greek singer but also a genuinely kind individual. His Wednesday evening performances, accompanied by a team of musicians and dancers, were outstanding and offered a lively taste of Greek culture. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with him at the bar, where he made us feel like part of the family. 🚗 Car Rental Service Tsampiko, operating the car rental service "Auto Trip" within the hotel, was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. Located conveniently opposite the front desk, Tsampiko offered well-maintained vehicles at competitive prices. We rented different cars over four days without any issues, which made exploring the area hassle-free. 🏆 Final Thoughts This hotel offers a perfect blend of relaxation and entertainment for families. From the beautiful surroundings and excellent facilities to the outstanding staff and entertainment, our stay was memorable. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to families seeking a welcoming and enjoyable vacation experience.

Travelled as a family. Grandparents, daughter, son in law & 3 children. First the positives: the grounds, beach and location cannot be faulted. It was a lovely experience. We arrived a day after season opening and it showed…..not quite up and ready. The first evening in the buffet was terrible. Honestly, the food was awful and we all thought it was going to be a very long week. We needn’t have worried…the menu got better and better and in my opinion was a very good AI. The drinks were even better…..expertly mixed and very palatable! Now for the not quite so positives: rooms were average…..you have to request tea & coffee facilities from reception. This was supplied in the form of 2 green tea bags (yuk), no sugar, no spoons and no milk. Toiletries were supplied but never replenished…..fridge in the room but absolutely nothing in it. Not even a bottle of water! This is the first 4 * hotel we’ve ever stayed in where you are requested to pay a deposit AND a payment for the pool towels. The deposit I can understand but a €4 charge on top of that is just a money grabbing scheme. For our party of 7, this would have resulted in an extra charge of €28 PLUS the deposit! My advice would be is to pack your own. There is also €15 per day charge for 2 sunbeds & umbrella on the beach…..again, ridiculously expensive for a supposedly 4* hotel and something which should be included in the cost of your AI holiday. Air Con is charged extra €35 per week until end of May. The town of Kolymbia was hugely disappointing. There were a few nice souvenir shops but apart from that it was very depressing. Completely run down and full of closed businesses etc. I appreciate it was early in the season but……nice holiday but let down by the above.

We had a great visit to Irene Palace. Firstly, all of the staff were amazing. The restaurant, bar, reception, car rental and especially the animation team who were always so friendly and great at what they do. My kids loved the kids club - shout out to Gregory, Alicia and Ameena who made it great for them. The kids insisted on going most days as they enjoyed it so much - which meant an extra relaxing holiday for the adults too! The evening entertainment is great, they had dancing, Greek music and a show by the animation team too. Hotel is a fabulous location with a lovely beach a few steps away and a short walk to some great restaurants and bars. Watersports on the beach are vast and reasonably priced and car rental in the reception is run by a very nice man at a good price. The food was good, always something fresh and tasty to eat. Greek night was everyone’s favourites with one of the best gyros we’ve had. Rooms are basic, but it was clean, comfortable, air conditioned and quiet. For any other English visitors worried that this hotel was more for other European visitors based on reviews, it is definitely not the case. We felt very welcome and everyone speaks English. Highly recommend! One way to improve would be to make showers available to those with a late check out but it’s not a big deal, we had a great time. Thank you!

A very good hotel because: - rooms and swimming pools of a good standard, - great garden and proximity to the sea - delicious food, - daily evening attractions for children and adults, - but above all, the hotel service is at a very high level, starting from the helpful reception, quick restaurant staff, vigilant lifeguards, entertainers, and even a always smiling lady who cleans the rooms every day. Whereas our favorites were Filimonas and Seva from the pool bar. Very friendly people ❤ and our son was fascinated by the of course animator from Poland - Grzegorz - "killing chickens" (whoever saw it knows it ) The Irene Palace team will always be in our memory - thank you for a great holiday! Respect them! We highly recommend this hotel for entire families!!! Greetings from Łukasz, Magda i Michał from Poland

A good hotel for families with children. Very good location, right by the sea. Green garden, by the pool. Not a big water park for kids. The selection of dishes is average, but the food is tasty. The service is fantastic, they work hard and yet are always polite and helpful. Super cool entertainer manager Gregory, takes care of the entertainment during the day and in the evenings for the guests. We stayed on the third floor in a room with a sea view. There is no air conditioning in the corridors, only in the hall and dining room. Sometimes in the evenings there was a smell of sewage outside. Overall, I recommend it and I would definitely go back there.
