"This is an honest and as true as I can make it. But just my opinion! Hotel Definitely needs upgrading in rooms. I was expected to sleep on a leatherette sofa bed which only had a small blanket and sheet ontop. But after explaining i needed a mattress (as paid to have a bed) the mattress was delivered then very next morning. Yes the reception area is lovely, but all other areas need work I'm afraid. Especially the toilet facilities near the pool area, which I have to say are very poorly maintained (only 1 reg & 1 disabled that didnt even have a seat!). Children&adults using after using the pool and still wet. Causing the floor to be wet all the time and getting very dirty very quickly and causing a very slippy surface. Stopped using after 1 day! Yes the sun beds arnt all pristine but are all usable together with umbrellas. Pool again tired in places. 3 x water slides in separate pool which the children and adults both loved and used. Area around pools did feel slippery once wet so wear sliders. Steps and ladders to enter. Shallow end not very shallow for children unless they can swim already Bedrooms. Again tired and shower, when wet is very slippery. Balcony is a must so pay extra and book one. They are small and yes again are in need of a lick of paint at the very least! Need more drawers! Cleaning staff all need medal Staff Very helpful, hard working and do thier very best ( in our experience) to help where they can. So sorry can't remember the chaps name at the pool bar but her works so hard and always cheerful (overworked) and even remembers your drink! Really deserves more support at busy times! Restaurant Food was varied, cooked well and plentiful. Staff again work VERY hard and always smart,friendly and efficient! Beach Water shoes a must! Sea deceptive and can be strong so dont take for granted! Pebbles NO SAND until you get 15feet in... Entertainment Didn't enjoy the daytime music as we found loud, and some of the songs were inappropriate (contained swearing!) For a family setting. When we voiced our concerns we were told" we just get given the play list?" Which is just not good enough excuse! Infact the only time we had any direct interaction with the "entertainment staff, was when we were asked if we would like to purchase a t-shirt for my granddaughter or when we complained about what was played! Not much English was said so that needs to be worked on. Not impressed sorry as I know other reviews state different... In closing IMHO we had a chilled week away. The staff really do try to make your stay best they can and are a credit. But the hotel itself is at best 3* go with an open mind on that basis and you will have a good break away!"

"We stayed for one week at Caesars Gardens. It was incredibly relaxing. We had room 203 which was on the first floor. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spotless and very large. Breakfast was ordered from a daily menu and there was also a small buffet to choose from. The food was delicious. Pool was spotless and even though the hotel was full there was never an issue finding a sunbed. The jacuzzi area was also spotlessly clean and so chilled. A 15 min walk into Lindos each evening for dinner - 7 euros in a taxi back to the hotel or could scale the steep hill up to the road. All the staff in the hotel were professional and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. A really wonderful stay. Thank you"

"Pros • We arrived in the early hours of the morning our room had fresh fruit and refreshments, which was a lovely touch. • The hotel had a lovely appearance and made a good first impression. • A complimentary bottle of wine was provided to enjoy at any time during the week. • The room was always kept clean and tidy, with fresh towels everyday. • The older gentleman and the younger member of staff in the main bar were both friendly, pleasant, and welcoming. • Two or three members of staff in the main restaurant were also very pleasant and helpful. Cons • If you're considering all-inclusive, think twice. We felt all-inclusive guests were treated differently from paying guests. • The snack bar closed at 5:30 pm for all-inclusive guests but remained open for those paying separately, which felt very unfair. The food there was much nicer for paying guests. • It was almost impossible to get a sunbed around the pool because they were taken very early every day. • As the hotel couldn't provide enough space to accommodate all guests around the poolside, you then had to pay £4 per sunbed to sit on the grass area or the beach. This should be included for hotel guests. • The ladies' toilet by the pool was in a disgusting condition. The toilet seat was green, cracked, and heavily urine-stained. • The staff at the snack/surf bar were consistently miserable, rarely smiled, and made little effort to engage with all inclusive guests. • There was entertainment on some nights, which was okay on some evenings and not on others, but that is standard. However, if you wanted to join in bingo, you had to pay €10, which we found unfair. This should all be included within the holiday for all families to enjoy. • Food Breakfast: There was plenty of variety, but it catered more towards German tastes than British. However, I appreciate that breakfasts abroad are often different from what we're used to. Lunch and dinner: There was always a good variety of food available. Some dishes were repeated, but there was enough choice that you could always find something different. The meat dishes, in particular, were cooked very well and were one of the highlights of the food. Drinks (All-Inclusive) The all-inclusive drinks were disappointing. The cocktails were pre-made and didn't taste very nice. The spirits available on the all-inclusive package appeared to be of a lower quality than those served to paying guests. The drinks purchased by paying guests looked fresher, tasted better, and were presented much more nicely. The main bar stopped serving all-inclusive drinks at 11:00 pm but remained open for guests who were paying, which again made us feel that all-inclusive guests were treated differently. Overall Unfortunately, I would not stay at Blue Horizon again. Throughout the holiday, we felt that all-inclusive guests were treated as second-class customers, while guests who spent extra money received better treatment. It gave the impression that the hotel was always looking "

"I’ve really enjoyed staying here, all the staff are so welcoming and friendly especially the ones on the bar and in the restaurant, the food in the restaurant is outstanding, the breakfast selection has a wide variety along with the snack menu at the pool bar. The pool bar is lovely on an evening we went there most nights for a drink before and after our evening meal the cocktails are very nice too. The room was very nice, the bed was very comfy too, however the balcony chairs are not the most comfortable but they did the job. The pool is lovely and the sun-beds are very comfortable, there’s always some available upon til midday too so no rush to get up to get them but some are not in the sun for very long. The DJ day is good we was there for 2 of them and we enjoyed it, there’s also sometimes a DJ in the night too. There is a shop in the hotel which is helpful we found it quite expensive tho so i recommend going to ‘mini market’ about 5-10 mins walk away. It is slightly out the way but taxis can be ordered from reception and there’s a bus stop at the bottom of the road which bus’s come regularly. We stayed for 10 nights and restaurants wise we found a few very nice ones which were Cavo Italiano, kostas village taverna, Pezouli (these are about a 25 min walk from the hotel) then il borgo in the old town is lovely then of course the hotel food and we ate here twice and out of all the meals we had we enjoyed it the most. I also recommend amalfi coast beach bar we went here for the day as the sunbeds are free if you get food there and the food is good too. We will definitely be back soon!"

"Spent 10 nights here with my partner and to say the least overall it’s been okay. Personally, I wouldn’t come back here. Staff have been very rude during our stay except for one member who was very polite in the restaurant the whole 11 days we were there. We have had service where the man you paid your drinks to once you leave the restaurant said not one word to us. Had euros snatched from our hands and thrown back change at us. Just very abrupt for when you have paid a lot of money to come on a holiday. The least you want is some manners and respect. Entertainment wise, they have water polo, aqua aerobics and darts at the same time every day and that’s it for the whole day up until the evening- even that wasn’t the best. you had to pay an extra €10 if you wanted to play bingo. Bless them, from the looks of it there are only 2 staff members that do the entertainment. Food was your typical holiday buffet some nights were nice as had different variety of food while others were very basic and bland. As for the sunbeds if you would like to sit towards the beach they are €4 each. Which I believe is a joke when the sunbeds are literally part of the hotel you have already paid to say in. Why should you have to pay more? Overall, I have gathered they only really want your money and aren’t not fussed about customer service."
