Atlantica Mikri Poli Rhodes

We loved our stay at Atlantica Mikri Poli with our 10 year old daughter. The room was clean, plenty of plug points for us, 3 sockets along with a USB charger either side of the double bed (I had read previous reviews about lack of sockets so brought an extension cable but turns out it wasn't needed). The room was cleaned daily and a new bottle of water was left in the room daily. There were also crates of bottled water left outside the apartment blocks so you could take more if needed. There were plenty of sun loungers available all through the day at all pools including the water park. We found the pool at the back of the resort the best suited to us as it was quieter and had the pool bar for drinks and snacks, the animation team would come around daily to let us know about the activities going on at the main pool for the day and the evening entertainment. They were super friendly and never pushy. We were lucky the weather was still very warm high 20s to low 30s however the pool was quite cold which I was expecting for this time of year anyway. The beach just across the road was lovely and quiet, we managed to "pop over" two mornings just in time to watch the sunrise and then head back for breakfast at the restaurant. Highly recommend seeing the sunrise, so peaceful and probably a 10 min walk from our room to a sunlounger on the beach to watch, it was the perfect way to end the holiday too. The restaurant upstairs had a lot of variety and had themed nights. The Italian a la carte restaurant downstairs was delicious, fantastic service, it was a lovely dining experience. ALL the staff are really friendly, the animation team especially, the energy they give all through the day is commendable Our favourite was the magician - our daughter was mindblown by his performance. There's a ***** of bars, shops etc about a 10 minute walk away in Kolymbia which was a nice stroll in the evening. We hired a car from the airport and managed to see and do quite a few things as the hotel is in a very good location, plenty of parking out the front. And lastly, my absolute favourite part ... the cats. There were many cats/kittens all around the hotel. They won't bother you unless you approach them and want to interact with them, then they are the cutest little things. Playful, clean, quiet, patient and well behaved. I miss them already. Thanks for our stay at Mikri Poli. It’s been a pleasure, and we’ll surely be back next year. The hotel & resort is calm, clean and have amazing food I’d come back only for the food, however there is many other reasons for coming back: Great view of the sea and the mountains on the other side of the sea, the hotel service and pool sites. I also had a great spa at the hotel, so thanks to Nicos.

Great experience. Staff were friendly and so accomodating, entertainment team were fantastic, we did not go with kids but they still engaded with us. We had a lovely trip to rhodes. Hotel was in a good location. Bus stop right out front to go on day trips, close to beach and local town. Food was great, we ate at all restaurants which were very good. Extensive all inclusive drinks menu. Only negatives were our bed was not very comfortable, few items in our room such as kettle was broken, bathroom was tired (door stiff, window loose, toilet seat loose).

Hotel really offers different options for variety of guests. My favourite was very calm, quite, relaxining sea view pool and corresponding Mediterranean snack bar. It offers after -breakfast snack ( sandwiches, salads, fruits, cakes, yogurts), soft drink and excellent service of very kind and friednful lady works there and who is always willing to make your stay there prefect for you and your family:) Thank you!!!

Just returned from a great visit here with our 7 year old daughter who loved it! Hotel itself nice and very clean. We stayed in room 253, sea facing and just across from the kids club and water park. Rooms ideal but only 2 plug sockets so we took an extensions lead after seeing this on a review. Good housekeeping and good size balcony. We sat at main pool each day but there are a few to choose from. Hotel states they will remove towels from reserved sunbeds before 8am but this was not the case so if you like a particular spot you need to be early. Food - plenty choice at buffet restaurant for each meal. Staff very helpful and continuously replenish food and clear tables/ plates quickly. Outside area has lovely view of the sea/inland, nice backdrop for a pic. Coffee all machine but actually one of the better ones we’ve had from machine. Bars/drinks - all local branded which we knew before we arrived however wine was not very pleasant. All bars staff welcoming and served quickly. The main bar has outside seating area lovely to sit and enjoy a nice cocktail. Myra who works in this bar makes the best cocktails/drinks and is very pleasant. Waterpark - well staffed and not too busy so no waiting. Animation team - best group I’ve seen for a long time. Everyone very friendly and whilst encouraging not pushy. Lots of activities for everyone during the day and all great with the children. They work non stop! Our daughter went into kids club each day and good variety of activities - the staff Reigna, Chiarria and Aurora were lovely. Askan (?) the fitness lead was brilliant, always happy, getting the guests joining, worked tirelessly with the activities: football, water polo etc. not to mention work the kids. Ghia the team leader was lovely and great performer in the shows in the evening. Not to mention Miranda and Nela, they were all fab to be fair. The beach is across the road from the main hotel and whilst a pebble beach, the water was lovely and clear to swim in, we hired a pedalo a couple of times. Only €15 for one hour and worth it. Overall a great stay and would return sometime, perhaps not in July when so warm! Obviously outwith the hotels control!

Family friendly hotel with tasty food. We appriciated amazing animation team, that enjoyed us every day, all the animators are enthusiastic and do their job great, 5 stars for them! Close to the hotel, there is a beautiful beach. We would like to come again. Thank you!
