La Marquise Luxury Resort Complex

Just had a 14 day holiday at the La Marquise in Rhodes in the adults only section and would like to say it was a great holiday. The staff at the hotel were amazing and could not be more helpful and we would like to especially mention the maitre Kaupairis vasileios who welcomed us back to the hotel and really looked after us in the da Vinci restaurant. We would also like to thank jonidia and kostos who served us at breakfast in the upper restaurant every day and started our day with a smile and also in the da Vinci restaurant at lunch. Carlos in the pool bar was also a very polite staff member who stood out. Being in the adults only junior suite and all inclusive entitled us to a black card and could have an al la carte more often than we needed but took advantage of and enjoyed. We were on holiday for my wife’s birthday and our 47th anniversary. We had an Asian night al la carte for my wife’s birthday and really enjoyed the meal and would like to thank captain Mankolli Markel for a great meal and evening. On our anniversary we visited the E’Ltoile restaurant al la carte On my wife’s birthday a birthday cake and a bottle of sparkling wine was delivered to her in our room and happy birthday sang by the staff member who delivered it also on our anniversary a anniversary cake and a bottle of bubbly also delivered which made the day even more memorable.

Second time here, we stayed mid may, we had a bungalow with private pool, the room was lovely and clean, mini bar was well stocked, new towels everyday. We had a black card so could use the rooftop restaurant for breakfast, this was a really great addition to the holiday, the staff were all really friendly with great service. The food in the main restaurant was really nice, depending where you sat was dependant on how good the service was, but generally good service. My only disappointment this year was the coffee shop, being a five star hotel which advertises having a coffee shop this was not good at all, all coffee is done with a press of a button on the machine and having given to you in a horrible little paper cup is hardly 5star. I noticed some people got a glass for their latte, it was just a lucky draw, and all the time I had coffee it was in a paper cup. No where near as good as last year. I would really love to come back next year but I’m not sure, mainly because of the coffee shop.

It was pouring when we arrived the staff treated us wonderfully took our cases loaded them into their buggies and they drove us to our room. It rained for 2 days but we weren't miffed by this because we actually got a lift every time we wanted to go anywhere, to eat or go to the bars or anywhere we just picked up the phone for reception and were taken wherever we wanted to go.When the weather was a bit better they drove us down to the beach they were absolutely wonderful. Kristiana was an absolute breath of fresh air and couldn't help us enough. The restaurant staff were amazing Maria the captain of the restaurant she was absolutely wonderful and so friendly, loved her also Marina and Varvara was so welcoming and wonderful loved all the staff. The food is definitely five star with so many choices of themed Mediterranean dishes to choose from. The pools areas have plenty of space and is well cared for with plenty of sunbeds. Our room was a superior pool view with balcony newly refurbished and beautiful with Luxury toiletries, robes and slippers. When we first got to our room it had a bottle of bubbly on ice and a chocolate cake wishing us a happy anniversary. I would definitely go back again thank you very much lovely La Marquise for a wonderful stay.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. The pools are amazing. The pool, reception and housekeeping staff are very nice, really helpful and always smiling. The waiters in the restaurant are great, the service is high and always fast. We had the HB options so the breakfasts are exemplary, the dinners are also good, although a few years ago the dinners were better. This is a plus, but to be honest and give a true picture, you also have to mention the minuses. The pans on which omelettes are made or fried eggs are served could be replaced from time to time because when we see how the kitchen staff struggles to burn them and what sticks to the food fried there, we stop wanting to eat such food. We have two types of music by the pools. One loud music is playing from the island bar and another from the speakers throughout the resort. It's a nightmare. If someone has a room/sunbeds closer to the bar, they have different music on one side and another on the other. You can go crazy. And the same record non-stop... Hello, it's 2025. This can be changed. The second thing is the coffee house. It's a parody of a coffee house. The prices for 4th quality coffee are not even funny. Their latte should go to a competition - I guess they don't know what a latte is. The size of the coffees alone is enough to not go back there. The hotel is 5 stars but during our 10-day stay we only got a bottle of water in our room once. Once!!!! That's basic even in a 3-star hotel have every day. I won't even mention any drinks in the fridge. None. However, the prices of drinks in the bar like 11 euros are a big exaggeration. There's probably no movement in this matter and it's obvious why. Another minus - an unusual situation. My partner wasn't feeling well and couldn't go for breakfast. I wanted to take her a sandwich to go. The staff agreed but getting a small paper bag for a sandwich from the restaurant staff. Poor... Any box was sufficient. Last thing - we wanted to upgrade hb to all inclusive. However, the upgrade at the reception was twice as expensive as on the hotel's website when you compare the prices of the offers. So we gave up. What causes such a policy??? To sum up, the hotel facility is beautiful, the service is nice and helpful but for 5 stars it's probably too much... for 4 ok.

Fantastic stay at an amazing resort. We stayed for a week in the adults only area. Lots of cocktails at the adult area pool bar - manned by the lovely Carolos, who is an exceptional barman - remembers your drinks after the first round and always friendly and happy to see you. We used all the a la carte restaurants, our favourite being the Asian. The buffet is also great, and the amazing coffee shop for lunchtime treats! This was our second visit to the resort, and we will be booking our third visit to return again next year. We honestly have nothing bad to say about the whole holiday. Christina, head of guest relations, treats everybody like we are her family, thanks for all your help and see you next year!!

An amazing Holiday, the restaurant staff was so friendly,the staff greeted you and asked about your day, the Lovely Boss Man of the restaurant would greet you at every meal time and enjoy chatting to all of his guests,he didn't have a day off as he loved all of his guests and worked every day, 1 barman wasn't so friendly but the rest were lovely,the buggy men greeted you,always had a warm welcome in the shop and the couple in the jewellery shop were so sweet,the little pool man was friendly and happy, we had such a enjoyable holiday thankyou
