Sun Beach Resort has a good location direct on the beach. There is a nice pool. The hotel is clean and pleasant. It is located direct in the starting and landing direction of the airport and therefor, depending on the wind direction, a bit noisy sometimes. You can easily reach Rhodes Town with a taxi in about 20-30 minutes. The pool restaurant is good, and you can get an ok pool lunch. There is a waitress, in the pool restaurant, called Eliona. She is very helpful, and service minded and always serves with a smile. We have stayed 2 times in this hotel, and we will probably come back.

We had such a fantastic time at Sun Beach! The animation team truly made our holiday unforgettable – always full of energy and super friendly. A special shoutout to Maya, who led amazing yoga and aqua fitness sessions. She’s so professional and really motivates everyone to join in. Can’t wait to come back!

Super friendly stuff in the hotel. From Reception through waiters to animation team which was really dedicated to their job. We especialy enjoyed archery sessions with Peter, volleyball with Lucas and amazing evening shows with whole team. Thank you all, we really had a great time!

Currently spending our holidays in the hotel. Very nice food various and interesting offers. Drinks are nice branded ( cola Fanta etc) particular thanks to Michaelis from "stage" bar... All staff very kind and attentive. The highlight of this place is the entertainment thru the day and night the guys are so friendly happy supportive working every day under hot sun to make you happy. Thank you Johnny Peter Lukas Issy, My, and Gabi. We see you soon again ☀️

Just back from a fantastic week at Sun Beach Resort (June 17-24, 2025), and we had an absolute blast! The hotel’s beachfront location and top-notch facilities—pools, football pitch, mini-golf—were brilliant. The real highlight was Alejandro (“Party Party”), Lukas, Gabi, and the rest of the entertainment team. Their energy and warmth made every day a joy with fun games and lively shows. The place is stunning, the staff are amazing, and we left grinning ear to ear. Can’t wait to go back

Great location, clean hotel that is only a few meters from the beach. Adults only swimming pool a few meters from the beach so you can swim in the ocean, rinse off and swim in the pool to cool off. Children’s swimming pool is on the other side of the hotel a safe distance from the beach. Breakfast buffet is excellent, it makes me want to jump out of bed every morning. Only minus is not all gym equipment is in working order.

We traveled with our 14 year old teenager, after 2 days she wanted to go home to Norway! No activities for young adults, we went into the fitness room, 1 of 5 running machine worked, none of the step machine worked, luckily 2 cycling machines worked. Otherwise very disappointed with the facilities. Air conditioner in the bedroom did not work, told the receptionist but it was not repaired, slept terribly because I woke up sweating, couldn’t keep the veranda door open either because I got bite alive by mosquitoes:-(
