After Covid, many changes have taken place around us. Even this holiday home had to adapt to a different general situation and, in this case, also contingent on the convent. In fact, the nuns are gone, or rather I think there are a couple of very old ones left who are no longer seen around and the structure has been given to private management. As a consequence, to optimize the economic aspect, the hospitality no longer provides for breakfast, which was not the best, but could have been fine. They have also rented premises to an off theater and with the theater have also alienated a part of the very useful private parking. The remaining part of the parking has also been privatized and is no longer available to guests, even if they pay extra. This is more serious because street parking is impossible and the closest garage, on Viale Jonio about 6-7 min. on foot, it costs about 15 Euros per day. The cost of the room is currently Euro 60.00 for a double room + tourist tax, so it's convenient, but without breakfast and without parking it's cheaper than before, moreover this is a low season cost, in high season it's higher . Nothing to say about cleanliness, order, room size, tranquility. The staff is courteous but, I would say, not professional: the lady at the reception recommended two nearby restaurants that were closed for holidays. So I think that something better can be found and I will start the searches....
