The service was good, but I have to admit the room was terrible. I spent 6,800 to book a hotel. I was seriously disappointed with the room. The toilet door could not close properly. The shower area is less than one square meter. I wonder where the good reviews are? The room is too small and old. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

The little brother at the front desk is very enthusiastic in service, helping to answer any questions and always smiling, and will carefully tell us all the precautions and intimate suggestions. And this hotel is very friendly to small animals! Every server is super polite. Love it here!
It is very close to the Colosseum, it only takes nine minutes to walk, and it is very convenient to go everywhere! The room was cleaned very clean!

Very nice small hotel in Rome. Location in Monti area is ideal for exploring the city (close to Colosseum) and finding lovely (affordable) Italian cafe's/restaurants nearby. Hotel staff is very friendly and super helpful to make your Rome visit a success! Rooms (and showers) are small but (as you want to be in the city) still convenient for a couple of nights. Breakfast is nice as well.

Nice hotel in the centre of Romes history. You could walk to everything. Very kind and helpful staff. Nice, small, very clean and tidy rooms. Reception was open 24 hours. Breakfast was good. If we would come back to Rome, we will choose the same hotel.

We spent four nights at the Hotel Grifo and really enjoyed our stay. Alen at the front desk was especially welcoming and helpful. He provided so many amazing recommendations and tips & tricks for exploring Rome! The location was perfect and we were walking distance from so many of our itinerary stops. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast. We would definitely stay here again!

This was the best experience in Rome. The hotel staff were very helpful and spoke English. They booked us transportation when needed and gave us good recommendations on things to do and see. Rooms are small like all European rooms but very clean.

Wonderful gem of a place. If you’re sightseeing in Rome this location is perfect. The lady on reception was extremely friendly and helpful and couldn’t do more for us. Great price and comfortable room. Would highly recommend for a Rome visit.
