I like the place, not far from metro station.
Staff is very friendly and amazing.
Owner Paolo is very interesting person.
I arrived early, staff was so humble to give me early check-inn as the got availability.
Definitely would stay if I am in Rome.

This was such an amazing find!
From the friendliness of the staff, to cleanliness of the rooms and the brilliant location - most things were in walking distance and it's close to a metro line.
I was here from 29th Dec '24 - 3rd Jan '25.
I was initially really sceptical about staying in a hostel... However, to my complete surprise, it was the best decision ever. The staff really made us all feel at home!
The bathrooms are cleaned daily. If you want to use a towel, they are available for rent. The beds and drawers are both lockable, and the room I stayed in was a 3 bed female room, which was also locked.
On New Years Eve, we were all invited to join in for a special meal. For a low cost, we were served a 3 course home cooked meal! It was absolutely delicious! The diverse group around the table were amazing. We all shared our travel stories and then went off to watch the fireworks at midnight at the colosseum (which is only a 20min walk away).
Everyone was super friendly, and I would absolutely recommend Free Hostels Roma to anyone travelling through or alone. What a great way to meet like-minded people!

Good location, not expensive. The shower was dirty, but that was because of the guests.

Participate the dinner time, it is really a good time where can meet other people! The room also nice and clean which provide safe locker with keys.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, good location and cheap prices. Not much more you need from a hostel!
Definetly recommend.
The wall of post-it notes is a great touch.

It is a very easy location to be found , few min from Manzoni station , personal was very helpful, friendly making your stay special , the guess organize different activities everyday making it more cozy . Room was clean and private , you got all you need .
I would definitely choose this place again and recommended to all travelers .
