The room was clean. The neighborhood isn't the best, but we never had any problems. Basically it's a reality check that tourists don't want to see, but that exists in all big cities. Nico was friendly, although a little insistent with messages and attempted phone calls, even before check-in time. As soon as we arrived we were informed that the municipal tax had to be paid in cash. We rented 2 rooms. For one, there was money, for another there was not. They should have warned us earlier, in the various messages sent. We booked through Booking and what a surprise we had when we realized that they declared our reservation canceled the day after we paid. And here Nico's desire to send messages ended, especially when I started asking for the invoice. When declaring it as cancelled, they do not pay a commission to Booking and I do not believe that they have delivered the amount of municipal taxes. I reported it to Booking and the Italian Tax Authorities, because I need the invoice and they don't respond through Booking or Whatsapp. I don't recommend it, they are dishonest people and harm others without any problem. Probably many of those who give the neighborhood a "bad name" are much more honest than these!
