I stayed at Black Rooms Colosseo and was very disappointed. The walls are so thin that there's no privacy-you can hear everything from other rooms, which made it hard to relax. When I shared an honest review on Booking, the staff responded rudely. They seem to bully guests who don't leave positive reviews, which is very unprofessional.

The place is very nice, clean and modern. Black Rooms is super close to Colosseum. The host was super friendly, we arrived quite early, they kindly offered to leave our bags. Also, we could leave our bags when we left. Everything was excellent, I recommend this place!

We have stayed there several times--an absolutely fav place. We were hoping/planning to stay there for a month in 2019--but Covid hit. We're going back in June this year--hoping we can stay in this great spot. (I have to make up the date--hard to believe that no functionality/common sense is built into this site's dropdowns.)

We had arrived a little early for check in, but the host allowed us to leave our bags in the room whilst they got it ready which was really appreciated. The room is in an excellent location to the Colosseum/Roman Forum, little coffee shops, grocery shops and places to eat. Inside the building there is very small charming 2 person lift which we loved. A 15-minute walk either way and you have the different Metro lines to get you around Rome. There are also several bus stops nearby. We had a big deluxe ensuite room which had a very comfortable big bed, Air-Conditioning, tea/coffee making facilities, towels, a safe, excellent Wi-Fi, cupboard - It only has a limited number of hangers, the hanger rail is very high in the cupboard, TV drawers and the room was cleaned every day.

Room with bathroom, fairly well-kept, clean in a location close to the Colosseum, check in fast, precise... but with zero soundproofing, on the sixth floor you can hear every slightest noise coming from the street.

the location is very good as it is a few meters away from the colosseum. The area also has some shops for drinks and food. The room for the money is fine, renovated and clean. We stepped on it because we had a front room facing the street and it was too noisy. So definitely if I went again I would get a room on the back side and let's see the courtyard.

We chose this property for a short trip to Rome. The hotel consists of several rooms spread over different floors of a historic building in the Colosseum area, thus allowing you to visit the city center without public transport. The rooms are clean and the staff very kind. Once the checkout took place, it was possible to leave the luggage at the hotel and then pick it up at the end of the day. Advised!
