Elba Hotel

Terrifying experience to forget, and don't be fooled by the photos and the "affordable" price because for me 2 stars should be removed from 3 stars. old hotel from the 70s, very dated, very small rooms (from the bed to the wall on all 3 sides there are barely 30 cm from the wall to the bed) not to mention the bathroom without a window measuring 1 by 2 meters without a shower cubicle but with the drain on the floor (so every shower you take floods the entire bathroom and becomes impassable for hours) and also with the curtain that doesn't close completely because the toilet takes up half the space of the shower area. and with the hand shower for 80% blocked by limestone which allows a trickle of water to flow down and splash everywhere. Poor breakfast with packaged pastries in an environment under the hotel with a strong smell of humidity.

We have just returned from a 5 day stay, clean rooms, friendly and welcoming staff especially the afternoon receptionist, professional and polite. Abundant breakfast both sweet and savory, room managed very well by a lady who is helpful and attentive to the care of the tables and the needs of the guests, excellent location in front of the station, no problems of excessive noise due to the trains themselves, well soundproofed rooms and air conditioning always working, congratulations!

Very simply from the photos on the internet I couldn't find the layout I found in the room... Let me explain, a narrow and long single room, and nothing to say here... I found the sink in the room, not in the bathroom, shower cubicle.. .?? No camping model tent... From the photos the sinks are all in the bathroom and all the showers have a box... If I had seen these variations I would not have booked.... impeccable staff I would like to underline... furniture cleanliness a bit retro... nothing to say... In my opinion the structure is flawed... That's all... I don't want to own it, but I won't return

It's not a hotel...it's all run down! Convenient and free parking, very friendly service staff. The breakfast in the bunker, in the cellar, to forget... thank goodness that a few meters away there is Buon Baldini, he is... excellent. I agree with those who wrote about the unsympathetic "Lady". Goodbye
