La Sorellerie is a perfect place to stay. Just south of Tour its well situated to visit chateaux and gardens but most importantly you get a grand welcome from host Veronique and her husbandJean Michel. Their english is impeccable and their hosting skills are on a par. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable. It was great to have access to a small but well equipped kitchen for teas/coffees etc.Breakfasts were delicious but do not t hesitate to book an evening meal - superb. Locally sourced ingredients cooked to perefction by Veronique. My sister and I ' will be back',

My wife and I stayed at La Sorellerie while returning north by car from Bordeaux to CDG Airport. We had hoped to resurrect a balloon flight over the Loire that had been cancelled due to weather on our southbound leg, but it was not to be. Winds, you know? A major consolation was this excellent B&B. The room was comfortable, spacious and spotless, The bed was very comfortable. Parking was ample and secure. The bathroom was large and beautiful. The common spaces were elegant, and we were made very much at home. The neighborhood was quiet, with only the occasional sounds of children playing in the distance. Veronique's breakfast, much of it homemade, was superb. The cat was quite agreeable. We used the time freed from our twice-aborted balloon flight to make the quick drive into Tours and spend a few hours strolling the boulevards. (Basilique Saint Martin and Charlemagne's Tower are spectacular sights.) There's more to Tours than the Chateaux! We sincerely regretted that our flight would depart Paris the following day. A longer stay would have been delightful. There are lower priced B&Bs, of course, but we found La Sorellerie to be most fairly priced given the levels of quality and service. It's highly recommended; we would return in a heartbeat.

Calm and beautiful presented superb host. Lovely gardens and a great breeze. Perfect for out overnight stay. Situated just outside the main town this offered a relaxing evening comfy bed and a hot shower. All very much needed after a long drive.

Quel merveilleux endroit !!! L’accueil si chaleureux de nos hôtes nous a comblés .. les petits déjeuners variés et excellents .. beaucoup de raffinements …. Les chambres si bien décorées et très confortables . Notre hôte en plus de connaître si bien la région, nous a raconté de superbes petites anecdotes .. c était super et mille merci à Véronique et Jean Michel

Veronique empfing uns, nachdem wir das Auto auf dem großen abgeschlossenen Parkplatz abgestellt hatten, so herzlich, dass wir uns in diesem wunderschönen Haus sofort wohl fühlten. Das große gemütliche Zimmer ist phantasie- und geschmackvoll dekoriert und ausgestattet. Bad und Toilette sind behindertengerecht, die Betten elektronisch verstellbar. Im gemütlichen Salon mit kleinem Spülbereich können sich die Gäste Kaffe und Tee zubereiten. Am Morgen bekamen wir ein ausgezeichnetes, mehr als reichhaltiges Frühstück serviert mit selbstgemachten Marmeladen, Käsespezialitäten aus der Region, verschiedenen Baguettes, Brioche etc. Besonders genossen haben wir aber das hervorragende von Veronique zubereitete 3-Gang Menü am Abend, inklusive des Weins aus der Region. Zu unserem Bedauern konnten wir nur eine Nacht in diesem herrlich romantisch alten Domizil bleiben. Schade auch, dass wir im Februar hier waren. Im Sommer auf der Terrasse vor dem Zimmer zu sitzen mit Blick auf den riesigen parkähnlichen blühenden Garten muss wunderbar sein.

Wij hadden een geweldig driedaags verblijf in deze B en B! De kamer was ruim, brandschoon en beschikte over een uitstekend bed. Onze kamer beschikte over een dakterras met meubilair, maar we mochten ook gebruikmaken van de grote tuin. Het ontbijt was za-lig. De gastvrouw heel attent en vriendelijk.

Très belle adresse avec un accueil chaleureux pour un séjour de deux nuitées entre amis “motards” Excellents diners et franches rigolades et petits déjeuners avec des produits de qualité. Nos hôtes nous ont gâtés et surtout beaucoup d’humour durant notre séjour. Merci encore et surtout ne changez rien vous êtes au top Bien à vous VALERIE, VERONIQUE, CHRISTIAN, GILLES
