It’s very cheap.
For short stay, it’s not bad.
Because it only takes 5~10min to walk to train station. It’s really convenient~

We booked a family room for 2 adults and 2 children. We were really tired from a long journey, to our surprise the bunk bed was not ready when we entered the room and there were only 2 bath towels in the room. I had to ask the receptionist to get bed sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases and bath towels. The receptionist also told me I had to make the bunk beds ourselves. We were really disappointed with the lack of service to prepare our room in advance.
The shared kitchen is stuffy and needs a deep cleaning. The microwave was filthy. There were not enough utensils available in the kitchen.
We are glad we didn't stay at this hotel for a long time.

Das Wolfgang's managed by A&O hat mir wegen mehrerer Gründe wirklich gut gefallen. 1. Der Preis. Für Salzburger Verhältnisse fast geschenkt. 2. Kompetenter und freundlicher Service. 3. Die Sauberkeit. Bad und Bett wirklich makellos. Die Bettwäsche, zwei Kopfkissen, grosses weißes weiches Handtuch usw frisch duftend. In meinem Zimmer (#116) gab es 2x2 Etagen Betten und zwei einfache Betten nebeneinander, direkt am Fenster, das auch teilweise geöffnet werden konnte. Ich hatte Glück, das Nachbarbett war nicht belegt. 4. Die Lobby (mit Klavier!) hell, mit vielen Sitz Möglichkeiten. Dort kann man auch ein recht gutes Frühstücksbuffet für €9,30 nehmen. Bis 11 Uhr. 5. Die Lage. Kaum 3 Minuten vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt.

Decent breakfast spread. Convenient location near train station. Unfortunately, the shower cubicle door had issue and cannot be closed fully - toilet area outside of showers became wet. There was also a smell due to the shower drain. Other than that, room was good for the price.

The front desk shouted at me on my request of city tax receipt and blamed me that it’s my fault to reserve the room not in their website which made him unable to print the receipt. He kept repeating his excuses and yelled at me that I didn’t understand English. Bad smell came from the shower sinkhole that spreads the room when it’s too cold to open window to sleep with freezing temperature. The only good thing is the feel-like clean bed which I believe a&o guaranteed.

It was a good experience for us. However, we book for 4 friends separately. 3 of us have the same room however 1 is different. So, 3 of us are comfortable but 1 friend is not enjoying the stay.

if you are going to buy breakfast - try to buy one in a&o hostel next door if they have capacity. Price is the same but they have better variety and pancakes:)

Nice reminder: This Wolfgang hotel is not a&o hotel, find the Mozart !! I queued half hour at a&o and then they tell me it’s next door.
