I'm not very often I'm stuck for words , but I am here having run out of superlatives last year or the year before or was it the time before that .........? This hotel is dependable' nothing seems to change and it is consistently excellent. Big clean, light room , huge comfortable bed , lovely pool area- bonus- no children!- and fantastic choice of great food topped off with a lovely welcome from the maitre d" and other long standing members of staff who remembered us from previous visits. What more could you reasonably want?

Before I write my review, I have to take James S from Paphos to task. His January review is an insult to many of the holidaymakers and effectively mocks those who are less agile than him. At his age I was playing tennis three times a week, badminton twice a week and golf regularly. For various reasons, none of which are his business, through no fault of my own I now have severe mobility issues at the age of 75. However, my wife and I holiday as often as we can and, although envious of people like James, who are fit and healthy, we thoroughly enjoy life. This hotel is absolutely superb. It is spotlessly clean everywhere, the staff are without exception fantastic and the (free!!) spa is unbelievable. I wasn't over-impressed with the food at lunch and dinner, albeit there was a lot of choice, but I am not a fan of buffet meals. Nevertheless I was never hungry and the breakfast spread was amazing. I am not sure who ate the broccoli though! The pool bar is excellent and the food there at lunchtime is really good. We didn't expect entertainment so it came as a pleasant surprise. Some of it was excellent, some a little less so, but to have any entertainment at all was a bonus. And as stated above, Vanessa was very efficient and welcoming. The alternative entertainment at the pool bar was sometimes worth a visit. We will be going back to this hotel, probably more than once. And finally, to James S, I hope his words don't come back to haunt him. It would be awful if, in twelve years' time, other guests at a hotel he is staying in look down on him as some sort of inferior being if he ever becomes infirm.

Beautiful Hotel. Five of us came for my friends 60th birthday and had a fab time! A simple but elegant hotel, tranquil and peaceful but very friendly. The clientele were very much older than we were but it was so lovely to mix with everyone. The food was amazing! Very good quality! Loved the pool bar food especially! The staff were so friendly. Couldn’t really fault this hotel! 100% recommended! Also they made my friends 60th very special without having to mention it to them.

My third visit to this hotel, first time with my adult daughter and then twice solo. On arrival I was allocated a room at the bottom of the gardens right away from the main hotel in a dark corner. The bathroom was very outdated with a plastic shower curtain and no bidet. I went back to reception and said I wasn't happy and as I was on my own I wouldn't like to walk down there at night. They quickly found me a lovely room on the first floor in the hotel and okay it was at the side so I had no view apart from extractor fans and a big tank but it didn't matter as I never sat on my balcony. I love the fact I can sit outside for breakfast in the sunshine with my bucks fizz! The food at breakfast is great. The pool bar for lunch is fantastic the gambas are amazing and the steak on the hot stone is fab, I also had the chicken bites . I noticed this year the staff were very attentive at the pool bar as the English sometimes used to have to wait a while! The evening meals aren't great , I wonder if a little less choice better cooked would be better. The sea was very rough this year so I only got to paddle, Both pools are nice and I braved the cold one a couple of times. I did the aqua gym most days which was fun. Tennis with Bella (not sure if spelt right ) was great and she remembered me from last year. I also did the stretching and Tai Chi. The spa was lovely as always I love the dead sea pool its so chilled. I did think the pool in the spa was a bit colder this year. The jacuzzi on the roof top was definitely colder which was a shame as I loved going up there at the end of the day to catch the last bit of sun. I did mention it to reception but it didn't get any warmer. All the staff this year have been amazing, it can be a little daunting going on your own but they were all very kind. Thank you

We been a number of times to this lovely hotel and often taken friends and family with us, who always been just as impressed. The resort is a quiet and pleasant place to visit with good bus connections to other parts of the island. The hotel, which is superb, is set in stunning grounds. Rooms are generously sized and well cleaned. The food and drinks are excellent. The staff are wonderful too. Overall, a very comfortable adults only hotel that is well suited, but not exclusively, to a more mature age range. The hotel has everything that you could want all in one place, including a lovely Spa. We particularly like the sunbed tag system where you reserve your sunbed for the duration of your holiday - we only wish that other hotels would do the same thing, as it saves a lot of bother or hassle!

The hotel is very good indeed. There is much to love, it is for over 16's only, it is spotless, it has reserved sunbeds so no early morning arguments! View from sea view room was lovely. The staff are generally amazing like Vanessa in the lounge bar who makes you feel valued as a customer (she remembered our drinks and was very attentive to ensure we were fine in the lounge). I wish the reception staff were a bit more friendly as we have been many times but no acknowledgement of that or even 'have a good trip home etc' when leaving, just pay your bill and goodbye. Pool bar is great, so is the entertainment and the activities on offer throughout the day. Love the location for nice walks along the sea front. Did not use the spa but reports were very good from others we spoke to. The area is fairly quiet but not far to the busier centres and bus service is great.

On the positive side, the staff are amazing, our room and grounds are very well kept and clean, a few minutes walk to a lovely beach walk. On the negative side, the following; first and most important is that the hotel seems to target the elderly. 95% of the guests are elderly, many have mobility issues. When I say elderly ... I am 63 and felt surrounded by versions of my parents !! Both myself and my wife take good care of ourselves and consider ourselves youthful in our outlook. Im trying to not be too brutal, and I truthfuly mean no disrespect to the clients ... but after 10 days here I feel like I'm ready to give up and move to a care home !! The entertainment is great if you know how to waltz ... anything more energetic could be risky. The only night that was fun was a soul / mo town night. Even then the music was so quiet that the singers didn't really need microphones. On one night there was a so called performer who was supposedly doing "Dean Martin" songs, not that I'm a fan ... but I think there were two songs i recognised, shockingly the singer was miming ... I know this because when he moved the microphone away, he was somehow still singing. No one seemed to notice ... which kind of says it all. Also don't get fooled into thinking that all inclusive drinks actually means that. There was a whole host of drinks that were extra. Including many cocktails ... which unfortuanly were awful. My wife caused an affront because she took her shoes off for one dance during the soul night previously mentioned, only to have some child member of staff approach her on the dance floor to put her shoes back on ... extremely humiliating. We tried to laugh it off but that is the nature of this place. The food is ok but very samey every day. I struggled to find any food that was hot. Unless you were there the second the food was brought into the feeding troff s. Even the meat which was carved from a joint was cold. The dining room is a free for all so be prepared to jostle with our german friends to get to the hot chips. We were very disappointed by all the above and have been to resorts all over the world, this is great if you want to come with your grandparent's, but I'd give it a strong miss if you are a young at heart person.

A lovely hotel right by the beach. The rooms are clean and spacious. There is a great variety of food to choose from and the staff are helpful and friendly. There are activities every day if you want to take part. The buses stop very near, so you can travel to other parts of the island if you wish. Lovely to get away from the January cold and spend 10 days in the sun.
