We loved our day at the thermal baths here, not crowded at all, nice hot water, but not too hot and friendly staff. The food (chicken burger and lemon pie) were delicious. Beautiful setting in the forest and very quiet, which we like. Also a lot of blue morphos flying to the feeders.

I stayed here for one night while traveling through the area in San Carlos. I took a tour around the entire property while I was here and stayed in one of their comfy cabins. There are various attractions to enjoy from hiking, soccer, volleyball courts, rappelling, ziplining, and many pools. The area is beautiful, set in nature with lush flora and fauna. The pools are all well taken care of, making for a perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful sounds of the Rio toro nature. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The thermal waters offer a high concentration of beneficial components with 9 different minerals - huge bonus! The breakfast at the restaurant prior to checkout was excellent. Thank you for hosting a wonderful stay!

Excelent place, we fall in love with the hotspring and the tipycal dishes we expirience at there. Sure its a place we visit again and agian. We also try cannopy and other activities with them. All was a 10/10 experience and of coursea 100% recomended.

*This is review is for the restaurant. I couldn't find a separate page for the restaurant.* My husband and I came here to meet up with my brother and sister-in-law for dinner, because they were staying here. They said they liked the environment and the accommodations, *however*, the dinner we had there was terrible. I was very hungry and still didn't want to finish my food. We ordered batidos (fresa en leche, like a strawberry milkshake but much lighter than the American version) and what we got was NOT fresa en leche. It tasted very artificial, like strawberry Nesquik. Also, we waited forever for our food. Not sure if they had a staffing problem, but we were the only ones there. Four people. Even with only one person working, I'm not sure how it took that long. Anyway, having the place to ourselves was the only nice thing about that experience. The food and service were extremely disappointing.

We were looking for thermal springs not far from San Jose and came across this place on Google maps. It offers nice basic wooden cottages, springs with unfiltered warm water and cold water pools, nice breakfast and spa. The mountain river and waterfall across the river are very nice as well as the lonely trail above the property. Getting there not easy; 4x4 is highly recommended.

Excelente lugar para descansar y divertirse. Las aguas termales están a unos pasos. La cabaña número 4 muy cómoda y el arrullo del río y la cascada son reconfortantes. El personal es muy amable y servicial. Estuvimos 2 noches e hicimos un divertido canoping en el lugar. Todo muy bien. Gracias.

desde el contacto inicial hasta el final del viaje la atención fue inmejorable, las instalaciones sencillas pero en perfecto estado,las piscinas tanto de aguas termales como las naturales, están bien limpias , el paisaje circundante es una autentica belleza y la comida super bien,amplio parqueo con acceso a toda s las instalaciones en muy buen estado ,agradecer a todp el personal por su trato excelente

Lugar muy bonito, acogedor, cabañas cómodas y bien equipadas, perfectas para descansar. Bastante rústico, las instalaciones tienen restaurant y aguas termales, no se recomienda si tiene problemas de movilidad. El precio es razonable. Idealmente necesitas 4X4 para llegar y salir sin problemas pero nos es obligatorio
