Hygiene: The room had a moldy smell. After I reported it, they brought in an air purifier, which mostly masked the scent. Other hygiene aspects were mediocre; there were large beetles on the balcony. Facilities: Some facilities were quite old. The shower gel dispenser kept falling off, and the TV was practically unwatchable due to low resolution. The garden pool was decent, but many foreigners hogged the sun loungers, and I never saw an empty one. Environment: The beach was beautiful and free to access, but again, I never saw an empty sun lounger; it always seemed fully occupied. Service: After checking in, I had to carry my own bags as no one offered to help with luggage. I was given a housekeeper's WeChat contact and once requested bottled water, which took about 40 minutes to arrive. They helped me book the hotel's dinner buffet, claiming they'd reserved a good spot, but it turned out to be an exposed corner with no fan. The evening buffet wasn't very hygienic either; all seafood was left uncovered, and flies were on the fresh meat. As a result, I only ate food that was covered. I reported these issues, and all I got was an apology and a plush toy upon checkout. Overall, I wouldn't highly recommend it. It's a mediocre, old-fashioned five-star hotel with very poor value for money.

We booked the Royal Villa for two couples, and the hotel environment was incredibly comfortable. The master bedroom's shower opens directly into the pool, and there's also a large Jacuzzi that fits 2-4 people. You can also step right into the pool from the master bedroom door, and it's beautifully lit at night. Any issues were promptly handled by the hotel staff. The floating afternoon tea by the pool was also exquisite and delicious. I really loved it!
