The hotel is very clean, the bath is very big, the toiletries need to be prepared by yourself, the room has a small refrigerator, the breakfast can be full, the front desk staff is very good, and everything needs to be actively helped. For those with time to enjoy Sarajevo Grand Hotel offers all you need as well as a glimpse into one of the many 'Grand' hotels with fitting that encapsulate the former Yugoslavia.
Breakfast although basic was within expectations for the price point. The 'Sarajevo 1984' Olympic colors on the chairs I thought were a nice nod to the past.
The room was modest but included everything I needed as a solo traveller and was cleaned every couple of days. Lack of AC was the only thing that made the trip slightly less comfortable.
There is a bar on a maisonette floor that serves drinks all day till around 11PM. The staff were courteous and helpful.
For those who don't have a car, taxi can be ordered from the front desk or you can walk 5 minutes to the Railway Station and nearest Tram/Bus stops.
The observation tower is nearby, the Ottoman city is around 30 minutes on foot.
I would stay again. 👍

The room is large and comfortable. The breakfast is rich. However, although we arrived early, we could only be arranged to stay in a room on the lower floor. There is an underground parking lot. It may be charged. But we waived it on the second day. There are many Chinese people staying here, and we also saw crew members staying here.

GGuest UserThere are no slippers in the room, the heating in the bedroom is not very warm, the floor heating and heating in the bathroom are powerful, not far from the Pigeon Square, the City Hall, various churches, and a small cemetery with about 15 tombstones is more than 50 meters away from the hotel. There is a medium-sized cemetery next to another hotel after exiting the alley. I hurried to buy some food and drinks at 4 pm in winter and went back. I didn't dare to go out at night because I passed by the cemetery. The sanitation was not cleaned. The mattress was quite soft, there was a TV and wireless, and I didn't experience a power outage. There was hot water for bathing in winter. I didn't dare to open the window. It was too cold. It seemed The single room doesn't get any sunlight. The guy at the front desk is very nice. Just register with your passport and then give you the key. There is heating as soon as you enter the hotel. A taxi from the airport costs about 15 marks, but everyone in the taxi knows how to cheat, so prepare 15 marks at the airport, don't use 20 or 30, otherwise, when the driver gets the money, he will say that he only took 15 marks. He doesn't use cheating when eating or buying drinks, because taxi drivers often cheat. If you give him 100 marks and ask him to change the bill for you, you must count it in front of him, otherwise he will give you 10 marks less.

The hotel is old and the location is a little off, but Sarajevo is not big, and there are parking lots available in the city center. There is a tram station nearby to the city center. The hotel has a parking garage for 10 euros per night, and there are also free public parking spaces nearby.
The sauna and heated swimming pool that guests can use for free are great. The sauna is shared by men and women. There were few people on weekdays during our stay, but many people on weekends.
The breakfast is average, and there are many halal foods.
The room facilities are old, but the bathroom area is quite large, and many towels are provided. Free bottled water is available.
There is no food nearby, so it is recommended to have a good dinner in the city center before returning to the hotel.

The Latin Bridge is within three minutes of going out. There are many restaurants in the old town, and there is also a Chinese restaurant, which is convenient for eating. The BBI shopping mall is also a 15-minute walk away. However, a friend put US dollars in a bag while staying here, and left the bag after leaving the hotel room. After returning to China, he found 10 100-dollar bills, which turned into 10 one-dollar bills🙀. It should be the result of the hotel staff stealing their posts and changing posts, because they have already returned to China and cannot call the police. RRingoDadGreat hotel with an interesting historical background in a historical city; It's a little over 20 mins walk to the city center, however I choose this hotel because I have a car and this hotel has a very good parking lot for guest. You may take #6 tram to most city sights on this circle line.
Hotel breakfast was very good, however the hotel facilities and deco look little dated, and internet was very slow on 8th floor when we were there.
