Very nice experience. The cafe has a warm and cozy ambience. The room is unique too with nice lakeview. The meals are special too. It is better to order meals during this period as you cannot find food elsewhere easily. It’s strongly recommended to visit the Lake Tazawa. The water is so calm and clear and clean.

Good hotel owners, good environment, nice hotel, good food except that the portion of the food is a bit small.

When I checked in, the whole space was reverberating with the sound of the piano tuner. Sure enough, the concert that night was held once a month. We enjoyed the evening with other guests. Japanese dramas are not lying to me, this is what happens in real life. Breakfast is a Japanese set meal, with homemade, pickled, and smoked side dishes served with rice balls (Akita rice is really delicious) Dinner is different every night. A surprise starting with the appetizer They serve each dish one by one and explain each dish one by one. Even the dessert ice cream is homemade (Akita people are really good at making things). The price-performance ratio is so high that it is touching. On the last night, when I opened the door, a movie was playing. The familiar opening sound was The Greatest Showman! It was snowing hard, and it totally made for a life moment I always said that I would go back to my hometown in Akita during the Chinese New Year. It was just a joke, but now living here has become so concrete.

The reception service is friendly, but the bathroom and toilet are shared, which is relatively inconvenient. The sound insulation effect is not good, you can clearly hear the sounds from next door or outside the room door, and the room is next to the bar on the first floor. It is not recommended for people who want to go to bed early or are afraid of noise.

Great accommodation experience, the environment is very comfortable and you can enjoy music on the first floor. The way to take a shower in the bathroom is a little inconvenient. There were very few people staying that day, so it was okay. The breakfast and dinner we had were both unique and delicious.

The setting and design were beautiful- down to the sculpted piano shaped bath. And Yuli’s meals were works of art- wonderful to behold, ample, and delicious. We slept comfortably. We had every thing we needed - including rides to the nearest bus stop (which was also a pleasant 25 minute walk along the lake).
