Hotels with Breakfast in Seoul

Will be my go-to place to stay in from now on in Seoul. Super close to Hongdae, a REALLY nice area for co-working and socializing, very clean and lots of good amenities such as the laundry room, gym (which I didn't use admittedly) and massive kitchen! The only small downside is the room was a bit cold, but maybe I just didn't change the aircon settings or something and didn't figure to ask. Otherwise, everything was more than excellent!

You can take the Airport Bus Line 6001 directly to the hotel, which is very convenient. The hotel is located near a bus stop and Subway Line 2, making it easy to visit popular areas like Myeongdong and Hongdae. The hotel is surrounded by convenience stores such as 7-Eleven, CU, and GS25. Diagonally across the street, there’s a cozy 24-hour unmanned self-service instant noodle shop, adding a warm and unique touch to the area. While the hotel rooms are relatively compact, the cleaning staff are exceptionally kind. For example, when my friend left clothes scattered on the bed, we returned to find them neatly sorted and folded!

A colleague introduces HOMES Stay to me so I decided to give it a try. No disappointment!!! Airport limo 6015 bring me directly there (bus stop to alight is G3 and 2mins walk to reach). Take a lift to B2 for check in. HOMES Stay is just above Chungmuro Station Exit 5, there are some steps which are manageable and this take me to B1 that have a lift to the rooms. GS25 and Starbucks are at L1 and walking distance to Myeongdong. Staff are helpful and friendly too. Umbrella are free for guest to use on rainy days. Allow luggage storage before/ after check in. There are also washroom at B2 so you can freshen up if you arrive in the early morning. Am a solo traveller but room is good enough for 2 pax and can put up to 2 big luggage. Toilet and shower are separated by a glass door. Other necessities provided are fridge, washer cum dryer (bring your own detergent), safe, room slipper, hair dryer, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner, hand wash, body lotion, microwave, some plates & bowls and cutleries. Housekeeping are not daily but they will change towels, clear the rubbish, put 2 bottles of water and top up toilet roll for you. PROS: Chungmuro Station is an interchange hence super convenient, Clean CONS: NIL

If taking subway you can head to exit 10 of jamsil station and you can go through the lotte world mall before street level, head straight, take the escalator next to the aquarium up, exit the main doors and cross the road to the left for the hotel. (It it not sheltered/ connected directly between the mall/ station and hotel). We took the side entrance lift up to the reception but if you go further down you’ll see the main car drop off and concierge. The staff service was really friendly, although at the check in reception we were given a list of rules and asked if we had any questions, so the hotel vibe felt quite formal and stiff. Was concerned about the rules on the swimming pool booking and bringing outside food in, but the staff around were kind and welcoming so we soon felt at ease. Was able to rent the required swim cap free of charge. Room was classy, spacious and bed and bath comfortable. We booked the lake view room but one can only see it at the side when nearer to the windows. We had indicated we were celebrating our wedding anniversary but there were no special greetings in the room or wishes at reception, which normally hotels would as part of their hospitality. The lake view from breakfast and the pool was beautiful! Heard it would be even more beautiful in spring! We enjoyed walking around the lake and exploring the restaurants on the other side. Great shopping location next to the lotte mall The swimming pool is small with one lane for laps and others for relaxing. There’s a heated jacuzzi outside and within the beautiful changing area was also has a hot bath and another neat amenities. The gym was huge and had so many machines! All in all a great and beautiful stay! Wish we stayed longer than one night! The only con is that you have the transfer lifts at the reception level each time you go out or in so you’ll just have to meet and greet a lot of people along the way.

I read other reviews and decided to book this because of raving reviews on its location. That said, perhaps the expectations were high, thus I wasn’t too impressed by the location. Factually though: 3 mins to airport limousine, 15 mins to myeongdong shopping. The lift was particularly slow, especially when we were on high floor. Services of the staff were excellent though. Attending to our requests very well. Overall, if you don’t mind lugging the goods for a good 15-20 mins from central myeong dong street, this hotel is great. It is also near to cafes and restaurants.

Def going back to this hotel! Perfect location! Very accessible! Right beside myeongdong shopping street, at the building’s ground floor there are convenient stores, a lululemon, and an olive young. It’s also right across the lotte dept store, also very close to subway and bus stops including the airport bus. The reception staff are friendly and can communicate well in english. They can even lend you an adaptor for your electronic devices, and you can leave your luggages at the lobby if you ever arrive/ check out early. most of all the rooms were clean and spacious!

Stayed 5 nights, room no. 1520. The pros are location, near the subway station and the hotel has a shuttle bus to get you there. The view from the room is good, facing the Nan Shan. The out room jacuzzi is fantastic The service from the front door and facilities are good especially the front door staff called ”Dustin Lee”, he behaved professionally and friendly which made me feel I really was a guest in your hotel. The Cons: The room was a bit shabby and outdated, also the closet couldn't close properly. The hotel lobby will always be crowded as different kinds of people get there, which annoys me. Also, I had a worse experience at my check-out, the receptionist asked me if it was okay with my stay, I said the lobby was crowded and chaotic which made me feel uncomfortable, but she said she didn't know what is ”chaotic”, I don't know what that means and I spelt to her, she behaved a bit cool and unfriendly, and the concierge staff next to her told her what is ”chaotic”, I think she is unprofessional and a bit rude. Also, last Saturday morning(22nd Feb), a couple took some wedding photos in the hotel lobby, and all the guests couldn't cross the lobby to the front door, I understand that it was the most memorable day for them, but the lobby is for all hotel guests, which may be made all hotel guests feel uncomfortable and inconvenient, I think the management should have done some arrangement for that to minimize the situation like that. Overall my stay was so-so, hope next time stay will be better as we go to Seoul quite often.

From the Incheon airport, you can take AREX and change to line 1 at Seoul Station. You can change to line 4 from Seoul station and get off at the next station, Hoehyeon station. You can go to exit 3. Unfortunately, there is no escalator, so if you have heavy luggage and things, you must go up the stairs yourself. Except for this drawback, the location was good, near Myeondong, and I also went to the Namsan cable car on foot. The welcoming and check-in process was easy. The breakfast selection was varied and a little bit crowded. Room cleaning is not satisfactory, cause the inside door area of my room was sticky and it remained for three consecutive days. The gym and pool were small. To sum up, I would love to stay again next time.

The location is good, in food distance fron all main tourist's locations. On one side is a construction work but it was silent during our stay Rooms with Japanese style toilet. Room is not spacious but okay Be careful when booking here - I always assumed that when you book on trip.com with breakfast it includes for all guest - but here for the first time it's one breakfast per guest. Although want to point out that we were asked for deposit - asked for credit card whicg we didn't had, asked staff to deposit in us dollars - they said that it isn't possible. But when we said that credit card is not an option - they took the blank for cash deposit immediately. I don't appreciate lying. Besides that we didn't had much contact with stuff
