"this place is practically unmanned, yet runs pretty well. It is clean, tidy and you get all the services that are advertised. The capsule itself is cosy and very comfortable. There is ventilation inside. Don't expect good sound insulation between you and the neighbouring capsules. Everyone was respectful during my stay, but snoring is unavoidable, so if you're a light sleeper easily affected by this, then take note. Breakfast is the same everyday, toast, ham, cheese, coffee. The washrooms were very clean. Check in and check out was also a breeze. Location is very conveniently located between two stations: Dongdaemun and Dongmyo. Both have 2 lines, so this place is very well connected wherever you need to go/come back from in Seoul. Would stay here again if travelling solo."

"This was my first time in Seoul, and traveling with my family of four, I opted for the 56-square-meter suite – it exceeded all expectations! The two queen-sized beds (1.51m each) were incredibly spacious for two people. Housekeeping kept the room spotless every single day. The service here truly stands out; when we needed a taxi, the front desk attendant called one for us, which turned out to be much cheaper than using an app like Didi. He even helped us with our luggage, bringing it up and down, and waited until our car drove away before leaving. Downstairs, there's a fantastic selection of food, including clam kalguksu which was perfect for our Chinese palate, and a roast chicken place that’s packed from morning till night – really lively and bustling!"

"It was truly a rollercoaster ride. First of all, the hotel's paint smell was absolutely overwhelming. I had booked two nights in advance through Ctrip… and regretted it as soon as I checked in. So I contacted Ctrip to cancel the booking and find another hotel… but they refused, citing a warning about the smell on their platform. In other words, since the hotel had already warned me, my booking meant I accepted it… The platform they mentioned was a Korean booking platform… How could I, a Chinese person, book through a Korean platform??? Because it was so late, with Ctrip's assistance, the hotel changed my room, and I could only manage one night. I opened the window wide and turned the air conditioning to maximum, but the pillows and blankets still smelled of formaldehyde. I barely made it to dawn… I absolutely refused to stay the next day, so I checked out in the morning and waited for Ctrip's final response. Whether they refunded me or not, I couldn't stay there anymore… Ctrip responded before 1 PM, offering a satisfactory solution. Suddenly, I felt like there were people in China too!! (The picture shows workers still working in the common areas.)"
