The price is very reasonable for a place just for a night's sleep, so I recommend it! However, those who are sensitive to noise and cleanliness may have a bad experience. I stayed for two nights, and on my first night, I arrived after 11 PM. A foreign resident (English and Korean) kindly assisted me. However, because I arrived late, the shower had already been used by someone else, so it felt a little dirty. The shower and toilet are in the same space, so the toilet is always wet. Slippers are provided, though. While there was no one else in my room when I went to sleep, there were a couple of people using it while I was sleeping, so those who are sensitive to noise may be woken up. The bed itself was clean, so I didn't have any issues. On my second night, I arrived around 9 PM, but there was no sign of anyone using the shower, so I was able to take a shower without any issues. The location was great, as it's located along Hongdae's main road! However, there are people out and about, even late at night, so you can hear noise outside. The closest station is Sangsu Station. No hair dryers or phones or other noisy items are allowed after 11pm, and there is a shoebox where everyone puts their shoes in the same place. Slippers were provided, but if you're concerned about cleanliness, it might be a good idea to bring your own. Towels, pajamas, toothbrushes, etc. are not provided, so bring your own. Hair dryers, curling irons, and straighteners were provided. There was no place to store valuables, so I carefully placed my luggage under the bed. I didn't have any thefts. You can also leave your luggage before check-in. Men and women are on different floors, but you may pass each other in the elevator. I didn't encounter any Japanese people. I would definitely use this hotel again if I'm traveling alone or looking for a cheaper hotel deal.
